CL winner
So who's going to win CL this season?
You have 5-7 teams playing at an equally high level, joking aside before everyone votes Leicester, the way i see it is:
Tier A (in no order)
Real Madrid
Barcelona
Bayern Munich
Tier B (in no order)
AS Monaco
Juventus
Atletico Madrid
Tier C
Dortmund
Tier D
Leicester City
Some points:
-No team has ever won CL the year running (looking at Madrid)
-Atletico have never reached the final 2 seasons in a row
-Dortmund haven't reached the final since 2013
-Leicester's first outing in the latter stages (i'm sure everyone knows)
-Monaco haven't reached the final since 2004
-Bayern have reached the semifinals of the competition for the past 5 years running
-The past 3 CL winners have been Spanish clubs
-Juventus last CL win was in 1996
-Atletico have never won the CL
Thoughts?

I don't know why but I'm feeling an underdog winning it this year, Barca, RM and BM don't like unplayable at the moment.
Atleti and Jjuve for me, I'll lean more towards Jjuve.

Neutral's favourite (including myself's) at this stage should be Monaco. But they will get KOed the moment they face a real test unfortunately. Their defense is a joke. Hope Leicester go out crashing in the next round btw. Twats.
Our brother team Jjuve has a real chance this season. Hope they win it and make us .

I'm rooting for all 3 of Monaco, Dortmund, and Atleti. Hopefully one of them wins.
Outside of these 3, it's Juve as my 4th choice.
Don't want to see the big 3 in the final let alone winning it.

Re: So who's going to win CL this season?
I agree on ties , except on Monaco.
Monaco should be on tier 3 with Dortmund, I still don't go behind hype , I don't rate them better than they are indeed.
They're talented but they can't win it as Dortmund ( Raggi- Glik as a defensive partnership. Pls, we are talking about a team that conceded 5 goals on first leg ) . Dortmund-Monaco would be an interesting hipster derby frankly .
Anyway , I say Juventus will win it. Exactly what I don't want.

Neither Jjuve nor Atletico are an 'underdog'.

I think we are in a good position to win it. If its not meant to be us then I imagine Bayern although I would like Monaco or Dortmund.

Re: So who's going to win CL this season?
IMO Juve are tier 1 and better than Bayern and Barcelona. I hope Juve win it but I think Madrid are going to create history by winning it back to back.
Have a feeling we might see another Clasico final though
Madrid for me and then Juve.

Re: So who's going to win CL this season?
Real Madrid IMO - We are too weak - Alonso/Muller, Costa/Ribery etc in 2017 are just big weak links to win the CHL.
Madrid have a complete squad, otherwise Barca with their Ref advantage. Dortmund have an outside chance IMO & could win it all !

I don't disagree much with your thoughts, however the distance between tier 1 and 2 this year is not much at all. Realistically Bayern would be the favourite, but anyone of that 6 can do it. With Madrid and Barca, it's all a question of which team shows up to play. Atleti have fallen a bit this year, so although they should get to semis ok, I have my doubts about how much further they could go. Monaco and Juve are both playing well so we shouldn't discount them.
