Chelsea have a lead of 8 points, They are yet to play City. 2 draws and they come under immense pressure.
They should win it, But its not over imo

Let's wait till City actually win their game in hand because right now it's a 10 point lead.

When it comes down to it, 90 points will guarantee us the title. We're 24 points off that, so 8 wins from the last 11 games. Only City and Utd remain in the top 6 to face us.
I can see going undefeated in the other 9 games.

Very little chance for an upset. Its 10 point gap and City has a harder schedule, its done.
They have in a row:
Monaco
Liverpool
Arsenal
Chelsea
Hull
Soton

Yup it's over.
Monaco and Liverpool games are 4 days apart and Arsenal and Chelsea both away are 3 days apart. Against Sunderland, City had 7 out of the 11 players that are 30 or over. They simply don't have the depth to deal with these fixtures yet.
Even if Chelsea drops points so will City and Spurs.

Pedro's pass to Hazard was top class, especially considering that Hazard's pass to him was very poor and could have easily ruined the counter, underated!

The Football Association has confirmed that Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic has accepted a three-match ban for his elbow on Tyrone Mings.
The prolific attacker will consequently miss the FA Cup quarter-final at Chelsea on Monday, followed by the Premier League matches against Middlesbrough and West Brom.
He is due to return in the home game with Everton on April 4 but remains eligible for United's Europa League clashes with Rostov.
Mings is appealing, better to get a longer ban than to admit he's a scumbag who wants to seriously endanger peoples lives
Was always goping to be tough regardless but we're 100% out of the FA Cup now.
Will have to settle for the treble rather than the quadruple smh

tbf Mingus jumped into Zlatan's elbow. Zlatan was merely like, "be my guest".

Assuming we win tomorrow. Liverpool at home will be the most crucial game of the season. If we can win that, we should have no issue getting a win away to Arsenal. Which sets up a match were if we Win at Chelsea the gap is cut to 5 putting more pressure on them. Reset of the games after Chelsea are lower table scrubs. Hopefully Chelsea stay in the FA cup longer as well with Ibra's suspension instead of fully focusing on the PL.

We are talking about the club that has spent the most on new players in the last decade in the whole world.
They have a squad full of stars and they spent a week on vacation in Qatar or some shit due to being out of the League Cup.
To claim they don't have the "depth" for a few weeks with two games per week is, frankly, sorry, laughable.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 12
Regardless of how much they have spent. No team has the depth to play at the same level with out having the same starters against Liverpol/@Arsenal/@Chelsea/Hull/ + FA Cup Qrts without burning them out.
We don't have the luxury that Bayern has to reset key players and play youth players since they're competing against a newly promoted team for the league

Despite having so much money, tactically, technically EPL teams are out-smarted routinely in the CHL. The League in general is over-rated but if they want to have respect again they should pray Arsenal doesn't make the top 4 !
I mean 10-2 over 2 legs in the CHL? Seriously - What a joke !

FFS you're ignoring the red card, different tie without that farce of a decision, probably would've been 50/50 as to who progresses.

Makes zero sense, how do we gain 2 more points without Mane?

Mane scored 2 against Sunderland in the 2-2 draw. And he scored the winner against Everton in the 96th min. That's 3 points gained right there.

what it shows is how the table would look if the points won by your top goal scorer were taken away. Mane is Liverpool top goal scorer but we don't rely on him as much as Man U and Spurs rely on ibra and Kane.Don't call me James wrote:Makes zero sense, how do we gain 2 more points without Mane?

Thought the same at first but the goals from the other top goalscorers are taken away as well. Say if Liverpool win 3:2 against Everton and both Mane and Lukaku score all 5 goals this table would rate the game as a 0-0 draw and you'd lose 2 points while Everton would gain a point.

Alternate league tables. Always its the Liverpool fans that post them.
Win a couple of games against some scrub teams (including Monaco) with Shitguero showing some fake form and all of a sudden city fans and players are talking about catching Chelsea and winning the league. You may finish 2nd this season but thats because rest of the chasing pack including United are crap and not because City are actually any good.
And sorry to break it to you buddy, but Liverpool will eat you alive in that next league match.
