Who will go through to the quarter-finals?
Re: UCL Last 16: Sevilla vs Leicester City
Doc wrote:Seriously, the madness that was Nasri's sending off is really too much. His team is at the edge of the box, Vardy gives him a shove. Instead of just continuing to play which every player not named Nasri or dive like most La Liga players would have done, he proceeds to rush Vardy, literally turning his back on the Sevilla player who had the ball.
Yep. That was unbelievable. At this point Sevilla had been passing and moving in and around Leicester's box for 2 minutes probing for an opening.
Ahem.
Let me repeat that.
They had been moving in and around Leicester's box probing for an
err
opening.
Anyway, how the hell do you at that point get involved in a head butt match at the edge of the opponents box, with your team in possession?
This is Zidane WC final level self-indulgence
Ruined his teams chances.

Lol, amazing by Leicester, if they win the CL this season it would surpass their historic last season

Leicester will win the CL.
Remarkable foresight and strategy by Ranieri, who knew his team of plucky scrubs would peter out in the PL after the title hangover, but would band together in the new adventures of Europe, winning it all in the end and remaining at the elite table. He then engineered his season to get himself sacked and earn a well-deserved extended holiday. 4D chess. Brilliant. Ranieri, manager of the year, again.

Re: UCL Last 16: Sevilla vs Leicester City
Watched this match of course.
Leicester deserved, and Sevilla had a bad approach to the match . It's typical when you've a team built on talented players but no personality or lazy
All that, Sevilla could go on extra-time but the worst penalty kick ever shot by N'Zonzi avoided it. And I wonder .. why does N'zonzi shot the most important penalty of Sevilla season when you've so many good foot everywhere ?
Credit to Shakespeare to have honoured his glorious surname, now they're to quarter finals . Waiting for being trashed from next team (perhaps Juve)
I can't believe Vardy was a difference maker last year.
The guy thinks sometimes to play still in Pub League.
Looked for a fight against Nasri for the whole match , and got at the end with the red card for the French player.
He was going to bottle it because Sevilla are better in 10 than Nasri lol
Moreover he missed an incredible chance for 3-0 , and he reacted punching himself in the face - a very hilarious scene

Very disappointing by Sampaoli , it was frustrating to watch the Sevilla today .. Then why this team insists on searching the goal through the crosses..
Leicester were the the Leicester. Not an incredible match played, but it was enough to be solid defensively ( except for the chance that caused the penalty kick ) and playing in in the simplest way possible
At the end , it was easier than writing the Hamlet

Re: UCL Last 16: Sevilla vs Leicester City
Sevilla have had issues with penalties all season. They had missed their last three (Villareal, Leicester first leg, and Athletic) before tonight. Different taker (Nasri, Correa, Jovetic) each time. N'Zonzi had NEVER taken a pen before tonight.
I'm not sure what's going on. They might have a system when if someone misses they let someone else take the next one (van Gaal did something similar at United). Jovetic missed the last one so he didn't take. Ben Yedder and Nasri were off the pitch. Vazquez on the bench. N'Zonzi might have been the only one willing to take it.

Imagine being this much of a hipster fanboy.
Leicester's deep block was world class. Sevilla are a bottling pub team with a crap defence, EPL champions exposed EPL rejects FC - shocker.

Say the guy with hard on for morata carbon copy benzema games, oh wait its more intense(how do you gauge that running a lot?), everybody knows your clueless and just say things you think a madrid fan should say, I remember when your lot thought jese could bench benzema cause he runs faster and because he loves the club more another idiotic stat that again proves nothing another than your a poser.
If benzema is nice level morata is still his sub cause he is average my bad scoring against tired legs makes him Raul, marca and their herd.
