Calling someone homosexual isn't an insult in itself. But if the intention is to insult someone by calling him homosexual the use of it is clearly homophobic and calling that out is certainly not homophobic.
In this case he wasn't even called homosexual. He was called a f****t or at least some spanish equivalent according to BC. It's obvious that this was meant as an insult.

Aside from provoking Ronaldo and making him go super saiyan mode, Koke also took jibes at Isco and Nacho during a training session at Wembley ahead of Spain's friendly with England. He said that at least he was going to play in the derby, implying that both of them wouldn't. They both ended up playing and having a great game.

I hope he never stops provoking us.
