I don't agree because signing a top player for top wages is fine as long as you sign the right player.

Pogba was just not a a point in his career where we could lead man united. If he had gone to a club like barca or Madrid with established alphas and leaders things would have gone much better for him

Let’s take a look at all of the recent high priced signings

You have Pogba, Neymar, Mbappe, Dembele and Coutinho. Do you really think any of United, PSG or Barca feel that these signings were worth the price. These much over valued signings are going to end up being aberrations. Some of these guys, maybe Neymar and Mbappe might someday pay off on the investment, but the rest of them simply can not meet the expectations that goes with the price tag.

Example A - Modric. He was benched by Mourinho lol and looked like a mid table player.

Example B - Ozil. Prime Ozil that is. Decided he needed to defend more and become a B2B lol. Still hasn't recovered and never will unfortunately. Mourinho ruined him.

Example C - Arbeloa and Coentrao were preferred over Marcelo and Carvajal. Heck, even Altintop (or better known as Golden Balls) was a preferred option. LASS was played over Carvajal lol

Not to mention DeBruyne and Salah when he was at Chelsea....

The list goes on and on.

Let's not blame Ozil's lack of development post Madrid on Jose, that's all Ozil.

How is Mourinho responsible for Pogba looking like shit, messing up passes my 8 year old self could make, failing to control the ball half the time and getting dispossessed every 30 seconds?

Would Pogba perform better under a more positive coach? Almost definitely

I still rate him as a talented player but I think I'd be happy if we sold him this summer, need PSG to be found all clear by FFP, Justice for PSG ffs

2 seasons and he def hasn't lived up to the hype (he never could) not gonna keep making excuses for him, his performances don't warrant what we paid nor what he earns and I'd like to see us revamp our midfield without trying to accommodate him every week, his footballing IQ seems quite poor and he's lazy AF

if we get another elite CM and play with 3 in midfield next season I'll give him a final year to see what happens but yeah..wouldn't be mad at all if he's sold

He isn't gash at all, he's far better than any midfielder you have at your club. He's good, but we can do better. Or at the least, we can lineup better instead of trying to accommodate him IMO.

Would immediately be not only starting at Pool but I feel he'll be captain as well. Also, Sports would blame Mourinho, he does get a good portion but Paul never really tried this season. Ghost through quite a lot of matches and really just was pretty vanilla too much times for my liking.

I thought this season would have been a turning point and it can be one next season but he didn't cover himself in any glory. That being said, I bet he'll shine in the FA cup final.

I don't think he can ever captain Liverpool FC with that attitude and dabbing mentality. Klopp will have none of it, Not to mention he doesn't run enough. He will surely start week in week out after a couple of months of hard-ass coaching though because he's a really good player.

Also Pogba literally has 0 traits of being a captain, I doubt he'll ever see a permanent armband before the age of 30 unless Mourinho gives it to him permanently from next season

Matic or De Goat for captain next season IMO. Agree I don't see Pogba as the captain type and that's fine, not every player has what that takes. Then again nowadays the armband doesn't mean all that much to players, I feel.

The club must have an order that the manager, bar exceptional situations, cant alter.

all i keep reading about is what jogba is capable of doing. i never actually see him doing it. how many young players do we see show a bit of class and have a few clutch games. people are like this guy has the tools to be world class. or this guy is the next messi. 2 years later he is on lone at west brom. jogbo is the next mario balotelli.

he's still the highest non Man City assists in the league and he missed 1/3 of the season, which is impressive.
