Which two teams will go through ?
Re: Champions League 2016-17 | Group C
Not often I write this about Barcelona but they honestly got outplayed today. T'was a fun match to watch.
I'm sure there is a footballing reason as to why Busquets has been awesomely mediocre so far this season but I hope it continues throughout the season. Please and thanks.

Re: Champions League 2016-17 | Group C
Well-deserved victory for City.
I said this after the Camp Nou defeat, City lost mostly because Barça had numerical superiority, and they weren't really that impressive, nor did they deserve to win 4-0. And most importantly, had it stayed 11v11, the final score would've been different.
This time around, nobody got sent off, and there was no Bravo to gift them the victory. 11 v 11 and City emerged the victorious side.
This is why I hate red cards in big games.

If Man City were a boy band they'd celebrate their impressive win over Barca a little like this pic.twitter.com/z1uuQ2s4zG

Our midfield, we haven't strengthen it at all and he gets little coverage. He himself has had a poor run too.

Re: Champions League 2016-17 | Group C
bad game overall tbh
buscuit is having his worst form ever in a barca shirt, think he played much better when he debuted than he is now.
roberto first bad game
msn shouldn't of been given that holiday last mid week, since then they look like they just played their first match of the season.. lost all rhythm
overall pep did a very good job, we are still in pre-season mode.

Ray Hudson of BEIN Sports and the Football Show on Sirius predicted the result today on the radio. The guy is amazing prediction-wise every week. He is a big Barcelona supporter, by the way.
He said Barcelona did not need a win and that MC was practically out without a win. I believe he actually predicted the score, but I have to listen in tomorrow, he might have predicted 3-0.

"Lionel Messi is reported to have lost his cool following Barcelona’s 3-1 defeat to Manchester City tonight at the Etihad Stadium.
According to several Spanish sources, including Mundo Deportivo, the Barça superstar was involved in an incident when walking down the tunnel at full-time.
An unnamed City player (or possibly players) is said to have insulted the 29-year-old in some way, and Messi responded angrily, shouting, “Fool, come here and show your face!”.
The culprit isn’t named, and Messi’s close friend, Sergio Aguero, had to calm him down after he lost his temper. Cadena SER reports that Messi even went to the City dressing room with Barcelona delegate, Carles Naval, to try and find the person who insulted him.
If true I wonder who it was

Somebody who knows Spanish which is pretty much the whole City team lol. Perhaps Kolarov, Fernano, Fernandinho or one of the reserve kids. Can't see any of the other ones being cocky partly because half of them are Argentinian lol
What I find odd is why this seems to only happen when Barca players are involved. There is always these tunnel squabbles whenever they are playing. If it's not Messi, it's Pique or Marcherano or Suarez or Neymar

Has to be that prick Kolarov. Fernandino is not that type. As for Fernando, lol you need to be of a minimum level as a footballer to mess with the best player in the world I honestly believe. And all their players are either Spainish/Latin American or too young. So I dont think you will have to go that deep into looking for the culprit here. ![Laughing](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_lol.gif)

It was Arteta lol
Messi was angry at the referee and Arteta said: "Move your ass to the locker room, silly boy."
Messi replied to Arteta, "Fool, come here and face me!". Arteta quickly went to his dressing room and didn't return.

Arteta was fist-pumping and shouting in the tunnel. Messi said: "Go and enjoy yourself in the dressing room. Do not do this here." [Sun]

I would be too asking Viktor "Manchester" Kassai about handing the win for City.RealGunner wrote:It was Arteta lol

I think Uefa is actually going for English winner this season, money is right for that kind of move, City got 12 players on the field in both matches.

Nah. We lost because of errors in defense. City also should have gotten a pen on Sterling.
City won fair and square as did we in the first leg

You are explicitly talking about the foul on Sterling I guess. Just to make it clear, Sterling is a Man City player and the foul was inside Barcelona's box.

Re: Champions League 2016-17 | Group C
I'm talking every 50/50 that went to Citys way, bizarre uneven yellow cards, penalty that got stolen from Barca and hand goal that got gifted to City. And all this on the second match alone. Sterling dived like a swan.dronte wrote:Harmonica wrote:I would be too asking Viktor "Manchester" Kassai about handing the win for City.RealGunner wrote:It was Arteta lol
