Milan v Torino
Predicted lineup:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CqLgUpGXgAAPbMZ.jpg
Some pointers:
-Sosa won't be available
-Maksimovic hasn't trained and is unlikely to start
-Castan just signed for Torino so he might start
-Everyone is fit on Milan's end
-Bertolacci is still a football player

Re: Milan v Torino
Kucka should start, if Montard uses Bertolacci instead of him then we have a coaching problem

Bertolacci is about to carry this game
Is Lapadula on the bench/available? Or was his signing just to distract us all

Re: Milan v Torino
Football Italia wrote:There is an extraordinary suggestion Pescara could bring Gianluca Lapadula back on loan after selling him to Milan.
The striker was the undoubted star of last season in Serie B, scoring 30 goals in 44 Serie B games, including the promotion play-offs.
He was wanted by numerous clubs, including Napoli and Leicester City, but opted for Milan because he thought he’d get more regular playing time there.
However, Lapadula hasn’t featured at all in pre-season due to fitness problems and Carlos Bacca appears to be staying at San Siro, surely limiting his chances.
“With hindsight, it wasn’t a great choice for him,” said Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani on Radio Kiss Kiss this week.
“He didn’t want to go to Napoli because Gonzalo Higuain was there. Perhaps it was better to choose a mid-table club so he’d have more space.”
Now tuttopescaracalcio.com claim Pescara are going a step further – they have asked Milan to take Lapadula back on loan just weeks after his €9m transfer to San Siro
Nevermind

Lapadula is suspended apparently, as to his transfer, he was signed under the assumption that Bacca would leave (great foresight btw) and now we have an extra striker and 10m down the drain

Re: Milan v Torino
I haven't followed Paletta for a while but on paper that's actually a good defense. Better than most of Milan defenses as of late.
The mid hinges on Montolivo remembering how he used to play, but with Montella that should actually be fine.
The huge problem I see is going into a season with Niang and Suso as your main creators in the forward line. That's seems way too unreliable.

Great dispossession from Montolivo, single handedly created Torino's attack

Re: Milan v Torino
We are playing some decent possession game. Nothing fantastic, just decent. What I love most of all is that we are actually opening Torino up with passes and we seem to actually have a gameplan compared to previous seasons where we play absolutely shit and hope for a goal somehow
I'd say we need some explosive wingers. Suso hasn't been terrible but he just seems to slow and Niang can be frustrating sometimes. The more I think of it, I feel El Sharaawy would have thrived in this system
Good first half though... And Niang's pass for that goal was just fantastic
