Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
Hmmm.. I'm so torn
On the one hand, I dislike Higuain. First of all, he plays for Napoli. Second of all, he's cost Messi several trophies and on a serious note I've never seen a player of his quality miss the types of chances he did. Even for Napoli he got a very stupid red card this season just a couple weeks after Napoli got Zaza'd, ending their title chances right then in there. Before that, he missed a decisive penalty that ended up costing Napoli the Champions League for the following season.
With all that being said, he's a terrific player and a legit #9, he's world class, even when we consider all his faults.
His arrival also surely marks Pogba's departure but if you told me we could trade Pogba for Higuain, Pjanic, Benatia and Dani Alves (not that this is really the case), before the summer I think every Juventus fan would have selected the latter option.
If Higuain joins Juventus, I will have been a fan all my life. If he stays away from Torino, I'll be fine with that too.
Also, I want the record to state I'm not a fan of buying a rival's best player. Pjanic from Roma was one thing, he's not their best player and it allowed them to retain Nainggolan (who I despise), but Higuain from Napoli is a whole different story.

"his future hot topic this summer, Pogba refused to commit when asked which he would choose if he had to take a Juventus, Manchester United or Real Madrid shirt home.
"I'll take three," he said cheekily."
Pogba not picking Juve there says alot.

Be honest with me, do you think Pogba is as good as Riquelme in his prime and would Riqueleme improve Juventus?

Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
Not worth 94M IMO. Not even if they sell Pogba. I mean he's an extraordinary footballer and with him they'd dominate Serie A even more, but the guy gained a notoriety of going full desaparecido in CL and international competitions. And it's not like they absolutely need a new starting forward to have a significant shot at the CL, Mandzukic is more than fine. I'd rather buy Morata back for half of that.

Of course he's worth it. Not as a player for another club but he not only improves Juve but also makes sure the strongest rival won't be a rival anymore.

All those Juventus fans who said Higuain wasn't going to go for more than 30 million two years ago now have to watch them pay 80+ for a 28 year old Higuain
Wants to win cl...... Signs Higuain.
