Has there ever even been a Welsh team in CL?

Yeah. I don't have anything against Wales. Beautifu place. Neither Juve nor Bayern will be there though. Two of City, PSG and the top 3 Spanish sides will.

It was only close because Juve took like 6 months to fully gel, once they did it was over. Now they have this year they'll win it by record margins.
I mean they were unbeaten for 27 games ( 26 wins and 1 draw) ffs lol, you don't get much more dominant than that. The actual table itself is very misleading.
I agree. TBH they are in the elite bracket alongside Bayern, Madrid Barcelona and Atletico
PSG, BvB and City are the dark horses that can win the cl next year. PSG have a chance now that Ibra has left, if inter and Barca are anything to go by, PSG are favourites for next seasons CL
What bracket is that? A wide assist kind of bracket?
Real Madrid have made 6 consecutive CL Semi final appearance and won CL twice. Definitely we are in a higher bracket than Juve who made semi final once in last 6 or 7 years.
Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
Real Madrid had to compensate after not getting past the round of 16 for 6 or 7 years.

How does this matter to the post?
Fact is Juventus are a few levels lower than Real , there are teams who go to finals to win it and we are one of them.

Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
Juve are not at the same level as the Spanish teams and Bayern yet because they haven't made it far that many times but they are definitely one of the most feared teams in Europe

Higuain goal at bernabeu this year, written all over
Anyways, it's not special anymore to beat RM in knockouts, Bayern would be much sweeter..

please... Real beat roma, wolfsburg and shity. While we couldn't beat those German midgets. According to my calculations, they are 4 levels above.

Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
That Real Madrid dominance over Juventus in Champions League play is quite amazing. I mean having a combined 8 wins, 8 losses and 2 draws record with Juventus over the course of the last 55 years is simply mind blowing. Juve are definitely 3 or 4 levels below them if not more really...

A year ago means *bleep* all in football. A year ago Newcastle was in epl and better than Middleborough now they are in championship with Benitez
BVB have better CL record than Juventus recently. I don't see anyone classifying them in that wide assist bracket.
Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
So, you were talking about Real Madrid being in UCL semis for the last 6-7 years and you claim that an year ago is * bleep in football.

I will be the greater man and admit that Juve are in a class of their own. As clubs, Juve and Real Madrid have always had a very good relationship, and so should the fans. I do, however, pray that Higuaín retires soon. For Messi's sake. Actually, he should follow Messi's example.

Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
It shows a trend and consistency not the quality. We are better currently because we are the European champions. If you included Juve last year ahead of Real I have no problem but after a R16 exit they have no ground to stand among elite.
Re: Official: Higuain to Juve
I didn't get my wish last year, but please football gods, please let us get Madrid in the CL as good as possible .
Sometimes I wonder if some people started watching football 3 years ago or so. Since the 2000 started we've gotten the better of Madrid all times but one, the first group stage with Conte. The thing is, I've never met a Spanish madrid fan that was particularly confident about beating Juve, as they tend to have been following madrid for longer. And these are always tight games between the two teams.
I guess Adit wasn't present for the joke that was Madrid losing to Lyon every year in the R16. But you know, "A year ago means *bleep* all in football", and I guess 6-7 years ago also "means *bleep* all in football" its only the sweet-spot that matters it seems.
