Does anyone else feel massively let down by Messi?

Football's most iconic player, and one of the best athletes in the world, has degraded so much in recent years not just as a footballer, but as an athlete. He has participated in fraud (not the coach) , and has been sentenced today to 21 months in prison. More so, causing drama with the Argentine FA when he should be an example to follow.

Other than that, he has been a much grimdark version in recent years, just look at these examples

His football has degraded a lot compared to his earlier year, where he used to play everyone like a damn fiddle!, at 29, he is more stationary than Motta. He just waits until somebody feeds him with it. No off the ball runs, runs behind the defenders or any kind of pressing while off possession.  Moreover, he is a turnover machine. It's like he is the CR from 6 years ago while CR became conservative with possession, tracks back on his wing and became a team player overall. Nowadays, footballs is just a means to an end for Lionel, disinterest shows when he is playing, no ethic at all. He has stopped caring about the fans. He has made a detestable character of himself. I have to feel sorry for the players like Suarez and Higuain who are unsung heroes that always get shafted.

He has let down his NT in 3 different finals

He has let down Barca fans this season

He has let down his fans

But most of all, he has let down himself

He let Spanish people down. When a country is broke and is recovering from financial instability bunch of Barcelona players tax frauding their way to South America is last thing it needs , especially considering these people are supposed to be role models. Lionel Mexit has disappointed again.
