Don't know, the longer this drags on, the more i expect Portugal to nick it. It just takes one moment of brilliance to unlock this game and i feel it could come from Portugal's end.

I have never in all my years (68!) seen such boring games in knockout rounds in a major tournament. Three games with less than 5 legitimate scorings chances total.

Thought it was a fantastic game outside of the first half which was shite.

Main man Kommander taking the respoonsibility in second half of extra time to drag his team to the quarter finals Molenation

Never had such powerful nap, thnx to both teams. In my humble opinion people taunting Copa deserve to be castrated, just a thought. It's 3 am here so peace out.

Yeah, he came on and really made a legit positive difference for Portugal. I would like to think he is gonna have a lovely career, an Edgar Davids of sorts but with a much better temperament. Speaking of which, I reckon this was the worst match of the tournament, hell, might even say worst match with Copa and Euros combined.

I think it was worse than the Madrid - City tie to be honest. And Portugal won. Somehow.

You obviously didn't see the other two games!! All the games today were booooorrrrring. let's hope the other side of the bracket is better.

This was a terrible result. But, naive teams that send half or more of their team beyond the half line to try to win in the last 5 minutes of the second extra time will usually end up like this. You do this at the beginning of the game so if their is a lethal counter, you can get back in the game. Croatia was a far better side in this game and has far better players, just goes to show.
