I don't know about Croatia beating Portugal. Have you seen the look in them steely eyes of kommander? The way he ran, the speed that would make a Jaguar feel jealous, the swiftness in his movement like a seasoned cobra turning and twisting to fool his prey and finally the ferocity of bear that reduced Dicaprio to shreds. Croatia deserves it the most, based on group stage performances.

I just hope they don't take Portugal lightly,
; they are a weak side collectively, but there a some very dangerous individuals in this team. Portugal NEEDS to use Ronaldo and Nani as wingers to exploit the Srna-Strinic pair of fullbacks, who i believe is unsafe for a knock-out phase.

Is Modric available or not? He would be so important here. With him I'd say Croatia were slight favorites, but without him it's 50-50.

Portugal are completely awful. Had the easiest group by far and couldn't win a single game.

Croatia on the other hand have an outside chance of winning the tournament itself. They will comfortably walk this game.

Croatia is a much better team but it's a K.O game and Portugal has a lethal striker upfront so they do have their chance. Modric's presence is much needed. Croatia is now a favorite but let's how they deal with this new status. Portugal, Poland ( likely ) are no easy opponents.

Croatia should beat Portugal easily if only talent is considered, but Portugal, though they haven't won many trophies historically, are a tough team to beat when it matters. Even when they didn't have a super player like Eusebio or Ronaldo or Figo.
