Pity he plays more central. Imagine you could write "Aaron Targaryen, the Mad Wing"El Gunner wrote:Aaron Targaryan

Koscielny and Giroud starting for France against Scotland.
And it will be surreal when I add Vardy's name to that list in the opening post.

Joel Campbell played for Costa Rica last night against Paraguay. Played up front in a 3-5-2, and had a pretty ineffectual game before being subbed off around 70 minutes.
Ospina kept a clean sheet against USA.

Nah. You're only gonna get pics of Arsenal players injured and in crutches barely able to flick a toe. No party here. Just more shitty internationals.

Re: Gunners at the Euros (and Copa America)
So every Arsenal player involved in the Euros bar Petr Cech has made it to the knockout round. That means there's a good chance that none of them will be involved in our tour of USA at the end of July.
Cech should be involved, which will be great as he'll be the only senior keeper on the tour.

Xhaka and Ramsey in action today.

Xhaka's coming home after Switzerland lost on penalties. Xhaka was the only one to miss, putting his pen way into the stands.
So that's his reputation tarnished in the English press, then.

Re: Gunners at the Euros (and Copa America)
Ramsey having a fantastic Euros so far. Coleman called him the best player in the PL today lol. Obviously hyperbole but its funny how much Coleman, Wenger, Guardiola and SAF rates him.

Re: Gunners at the Euros (and Copa America)
Chile have won the Copa America again. Alexis played 104 minutes in the final but struggled to really impact the game in a really physical and bitty match. He rolled his ankle in the first ten minutes and took a lot of bumps throughout the match.
He's just been voted as Player of the Tournament ahead of Messi, who was also impressive. So great accomplishment for him.
Hopefully now Alexis will fully recover in four weeks and be back with the team for the US tour.
