Part of me wants to see Arsenal out of the top for because of banter but Man U is infinitely more insufferable so I will be an Arsenal fan tomororw

Re: Arsenal Vs Norwich
We should win this by a few goals with a clean sheet. Anything less would be disappointing.

I feel like I've watched this same game 30 times this season.
This is so hard to watch. Just terrible football.

average performance, didn't create much going forward. Impressed with El nenny. Does what a midfielder is supposed to do and does it well

Re: Arsenal Vs Norwich
Three points and a clean sheet is nice, but like I projected, still disappointing. I really thought this was an opportunity to impose just a bit of that old style back into the team to close out this season on a tiny little good note. Eh.
Welbeck though
Elneny - not a worldbeater but my overall satisfaction with what he's brought to the team has been high. That one shot around 82' ... ooh, almost.
(Speaking of awesome "almosts," what about that Mesut pass to Alexis around 71' ... daaaaaayyyuummm.)

Re: Arsenal Vs Norwich
Seriously think we have the worst home fans in the league.
During the protest a lot of fans stood up and sung "only one Arsene Wenger". The atmosphere was prickly and actually quite loud for a game like this, and the fans were getting behind the team. But what happens at half-time?
Boos.
I mean ffs, make your damn mind up. Are you there to support the team or not? Or are you there just to support the manager? Moaning after every misplaced pass, getting on the backs of the players, booing them off at half-time. I get that their's frustration but none of that makes it any better.
We had fans moan that Giroud cupped his ear towards the crowd when the goal went. Apparently a player that's been abused recently for his poor form can't give a bit back when he does something good, like a human being would.
I get that the players need to play well and get the fans excited but equally the behaviour of our home fans during the game and their bipolar nature must make it a horrible crowd to play in front of.
The booing of Iwobi's sub was disgraceful, too. Could you imagine the response had Giroud been the one to go off?

Re: Arsenal Vs Norwich
If Giroud fails to score against Man City next weekend, he will equal the longest striker PL goal drought under Wenger (Chamakh, 16)

to be honest Arsenal support has always been like that. Remember their treatment of Eboue ?. Giroud might not be a world class striker but he has always given everything for the club and he respects the shirt. He doesn't deserve the Adebayor treatment, the fans should show him more respect.

Re: Arsenal Vs Norwich
I wouldn't be surprised if Wenger had Eboue in mind when he made that sub. He knew Giroud wasn't playing well but taking him off in that environment would have destroyed whatever confidence he had left.
Doesn't explain why Giroud started in the first place, but I'm glad, in a way, that we didn't have to see the ugly reaction otherwise.
