I guess Pastore is pretty much in the Silva mould, he just wasn't that consistent.

It's pretty late in the window to be looking for key players.

Obviously one of those would help but i'm more thinking a CM rather than an AM tbh.

Just to make sure that the link between Kante to Hazard to Morata is a lot smoother and you are getting players in good positions more often.

Cant help but bash Pedro again, but I just feel he isnt good enough to be a regular for a team like Chelsea to win the league. Willian is better than him, but Conte just loves Pedro and seems to prefer him. He had chemistry with Costa as well, but hes gone so it further affects Pedros output.

Conte really needs to make things right soon otherwise they look like no chance with the title defense.

Willian is pretty mediocre IMO. Pedro has a better workrate for Conte. He also scored some important goals for them last season, I think his contribution to the title is underrated tbh. Definitely a position that needs could be improved on though

a quick look at their incomings and outgoings tells me Chelsea have only spent 16m or so this window, so i'm surprised they haven't got in a few more players

This is just proof that you've never watched Willian over an entire season. Please don't say what you don't know Laughing

Willian better than Pedro? Hahahaha!!! Willian is an extremely frustrating player who doesn't know the first thing about creativity on the pitch and will make the dumb decision 8 times out of 10. Pace merchant who doesn't even score nearly as much as his talent allows him to. I like the guy but no way he should be starting for us. Pedro has offered us so much more. Maybe try watching Chelsea a bit more before you say any of that? Or are you just saying that because you're a Barca fan and are trying to further justify Barca binning Pedro?

He did exactly that last season and was one of our most important players. Scored important goals in like 5 different matches if I recall correctly and chipped in about 12 goals or so.

He is definitely staying until the end of the season, after that i am not sure. He has been very vocal about his frustration over the summers transfer window.

Given both parties record, it is a safe bet to assume this relationship is not going to last long.

Its virtually identical to his exit from Juve. Maybe he'll end up managing Italy at this World Cup if Ventura bottles the Spain match.

If Italy doesn't beat Spain, Italy may not be in the World Cup. Spain has a goal difference advantage, a draw won't do. It's not a sure thing in the playoffs.

Ventura will stay for sure regardless of the Spain match, he just extended and Tavecchio confirmed it. Only failing to qualify would get him fired. Conte said he would come back to the NT, but probably not so soon.

Dont know, most of the time I watch him, especailly more recently, he doesnt feel good enough. His strengths are his eye for goal, pace, work rate, but creatively I definitely dont rate him over Willian, let alone overall. With Costa gone and the way Chelsea play, wont be easy for him. Lets see how he progresses as the season goes.
