Pirelli extends shirt sponsorship for 5 years

Inter have officially signed a new five-year shirt sponsorship deal with Pirelli, which includes performance-related variables.

The Pirelli brand has been on their jersey for 20 years and this preliminary deal will extend that to 25, announced the club today.

“FC Internazionale and Pirelli confirm that they are finalising an agreement for a 5-year, long-term relationship regarding their shirt sponsorship deal.

“The financial arrangements include a fixed component and a variable one based on the team’s sporting performance.

“This long-standing relationship is based on trust and the close relationship that Internazionale and Pirelli have built over the many years of their successful partnership and which has enabled the strengthening of both brands in Italy and abroad, in particular in such important markets as China.”

I literally cannot imagine Inter's shirt with any other sponsor. First Inter game i ever watched , Pirelli was there .

I must say this season's shirt is particularly well designed . Hope the shape stays like this , without the tiny stripes like 14-15 , or the two big ones like 12-13 . 15-16 is one of the best in a long time imo . Also , 11-12 design is severely underrated , reminds me the shirts of old , too good imo
