Zola and Drogba certainly disagree.

If you really want to name the best player for Juventus ever... and take into account titles and longevity at the club... it's Scirea and it's not even close. But he's a defender so it's not sexy.

It's between Scirea and Del Piero. Their trophy count and longevity are both similar.

I disagree... Scirea was and still is the best CB i have ever seen by a good margin. He was incredible. And he won:

Juve in 14 years:
- 7 Serie A
- 1 CL
- 1 Cup Winner's cup
- 2 Italian Cups
- 1 Intercontinental Cup (no joke back then)

He also won a WC with Italy in 1982 and was, with Paolo Rossi, the best player on the team.

He was magnificent.

That said, in terms of dominance, trophies, BdO, Italian Pichichi, etc.... it was Platini. He completely dominated everything in his 5 years.

Not from what i saw...  Paolo Rossi went crazy with the goals and Scirea was the field general on defense.  It was very impressive.  I remember him specifically being incredible against Argentina and Brazil in the 2nd round pool play.

That's the first WC i was old enough to remember and Scirea/Rossi + Platini moving to Juve made me a Juve fan.

I had a man crush on Tardelli too tbh lol.
