Yeah it's a good game, kind of surprised Rockstar never made a sequel really.

It's not turn based. It has a few similarities with Final Fantasy 7. In comparison, the graphics is better, more fleshed out weapon/upgrade system and tons of different weapon combos/variations, but the story isn't quite on the same level, in my opinion.

I wasn't super impressed by the game, initially, and it bothered me a bit that I was able to notice so quickly that there seemed to be a lot of clichés in the direction of the story. Keep in mind that the voice actors in the game sometimes sound like those awful, American voice actors who dub cartoons. I've gotten used to it, but you might not It's basically the same people who dub Ghibli movies. With that being said, it didn't take that long before I started enjoying the things that make the game good. The planets that the main story take you to are pretty interesting, the characters are likeable, and the game as a whole has a certain sense of uniqueness to it, although the premise of the story seems quite cliché so far.

It's made by level 5 - the same people who created Ni No Kuni. My first impression was that the game seemed a bit too childish. The overly cute and innocent atmosphere of Ni No Kuni was the main reason why that game didn't appeal to me. Rogue Galaxy isn't nearly as bad, though. It hasn't really bothered me much, to be honest. I wouldn't even compare the two. Ni No Kuni seemed like it was written and designed to appeal towards 10 year olds, in my opinion. I can see why some people would enjoy that game, but it's basically a sugar-coated, interactive, Ghibli movie with a sub-par story. Enough about that.

I honestly haven't progressed that far in the main story of Rogue Galaxy yet, but it only seems to get better. I can't assure you that you'll like it, but I think you will. I couldn't wait for my gf to hit the sack today, just so that I could sit down and continue where I left off in my last play session

I downloaded Fallout's new DLC that was released today. It didn't take long before it allowed me to build my own robot companion... which is pretty cool, I guess. So, I pimped up my robot companion and was ready to actually do the DLC mission and go and beat this "Machinist"- guy, when I noticed that my robot companion wasn't following me anymore. I tried opening up my robot workbench, and there "she" was again. However, she turned invisible/disappeared as soon as I closed it. I don't know if this is a common problem with the DLC, but I suppose I should've expected something like this from Bethesda

Anyone played Sunless Seas? One of the best games i've played on the PC IMO, heard about it when it released last year but didn't bat an eye. Already sunk a couple of hours on my first time

I know in Denmark no tv channels has 4k. They just replaced all SD channels to HD (:

4k is a gimmick right now imo

Didn't bother buying one last year. Will buy when 4k becomes more mainstream and by then it should be cheap to buy.

Yeah it's a waste atm.

To me it's cheap enough to consider buying one atm but without the content supporting it then it's pointless

4K TVs are a long term investment imo.

4K at the moment requires around $1000 worth of gpu hardware on the PC front. The time when 4K becomes mainstream is at least 2 GPU generations away (Pascal looks like it will make a big leap and make 4K available to a single high end gpu). Anyways most PC gamers would prefer higher refresh rate screens than 4k level of resolution when given a choice.

There's really no reason to go full on for 4K now, it hasn't been an industry norm yet. In a few years, possibly
