I really hope the fans will be really close to the pitch kind of like in the PL. Reliant Stadium still has a lot of empty room between the pitch and first row. Player safety could be an issue but the atmosphere would be incredible with fans close to the pitch.

Is it possible that in the future Juventus Arena expands to a 50,000 seat stadium?

Yeah I read somewhere that Juve purposely started with a 41k seated stadium and left room for expansion later depending on crowd sell out and what not. Not a bad idea at all, and some people in this thread discussed already the negatives of having a huge half empty stadium.

It was a very shrewd move by Juve as well, considering they are the best supported side in Italy. Roma are not quite on par with them in terms of support on the peninsula, and while realistically, I don't think we'll be seating 60k for matches against the likes of Pescara or Siena, I do think we will be doing it regularly against the big boys.

Bari's stadium, Stadio San Nicola, is the most criminal one. It's absolutely huge and has never, ever filled up in it's 22 year history. To make matters worse, the club is no longer even in Serie A. The stadium itself is well designed and is alright for football despite having a running track. The stadium holds 58,248 people and was built there because the President of the League also happened to be the President of Bari.

I find it similar to the Stadio Della Alpi.I believe it faces the same issues as well of poor visibility and outdated infrastructure. Its a relatively small town too.

Anyway people tend to forget that Rome is a tourist attraction. In summer or winter the city is filled with tourists, Italians are very poor when it comes to marketing, but with this new American management coupled with the new stadium you can almost be sure to have at least 2000-3000 tourist at the stadium regardless of the opponent, for a tourist visiting Rome for a week or so he won't be so picky on what game he watches at the stadium, it's the experience and the memory that masters most to this caliber of fans. And we can see the management smartly starting by bonding with Disney.

All indications show that AS Roma are on the right track, Zeman might not win them anything and all Roma fans I met are aware and fine with that, they say it is the same process that Roma went through pre Capello, and it was no other than Zeman that built that wonderful squad for Capello to lead later, only to get hit later by financial issues and had to sell a big chunk of that squad, only this time it seems they are planning to get over their financial difficulties while building a great squad.

Do I need to mention that I am in love of this Roma team?

Forza Roma, Forza Zeman.

PS I hope Zeman wins the title with Roma he and the club really deserve it.

The UK is not doing well economically. They, like we are doing in the US, are printing money (quantitative easing) to temporarily mask the economic problems. Eventually, all that money printing will cause a currency crash.

:coffee: its a long term investment and in modern football having a stadium is a must , however bringing more fans to the stadium is important but building the stadium is a good first step .

Apparently Inter has chosen an architect for our stadium, the building company owned by the prime minister of Kosovo? Supposedly the plans are for a 66k stadium modeled after Allianz or Emirates

Those are obviously both beautiful stadia, but 66k is too big IMO

Inter average somewhere in between 40-45K..Its 43K so far this season.

It was almost 50K in their treble winning season by the way.

Is it based on the same report i read in the summer about those Chinese investors agreeing to build a new stadium ?
