Bayern played their game and they are as amazing as they always are. But even though it was a great comeback and a great match, I can't enjoy it. Absolute worst match I've ever seen from Allegri, he played with more balls against Barca in the CL final than at home in a first leg...

Set up the game to Bayern's advantage through and through. The second half showed us what could have been.

Mandzukic was excellent, our best. Pogba and Dybala great as well. Litch-Barzagli-Bonucci were good, Evra couldn't cope too well. Robben is too good. Marchisio and Khedira (who should have never started if this was our plan) were poor, partly tactics, partly their fault. Sturaro does what he does best in big games, and Hernanes blew me away, top performance from him.

You never could imagine a tie after 60 minutes.. Anywya congrats Juve, not easy to have a come back against Bayern from 0-2.

It looked like Arsenal-Barcelona 2010, with Ibra to score 2 goals but then Arsernal got the comeback.

Then in return match Messi scored 4 goals.
Now Guardiola won't have the same bonus.

Looking forward to the return. Anything can happen if we bring the game to them, gonna be fun.

Juve deserved it, really good game as well i enjoyed it a lot.

Now Bayern are favourites but anything can happen and the sort of game that it will suit Juve and i'm just happy that the 2nd leg can legitimately still go both ways.

Bayern dominated for 60 minutes tbh but they are these.
I remind also against Inter in 2011 , they deserved to win 4-1 after 1st half but it ended 2-1, then they lost 2-3 and they got knocked out

Agree Robes, it's one of the reasons why i wanted Juve to be more aggressive early on. It was obvious that their disgusting excuse of a defense wouldn't be able to withstand much pressure on top of the mentality thing you mention.

I want a personal apology from all the butthurt Madrid fans and overconfident Juve fans who were saying Juve were the favorites, Bayern aren't actually that good, etc.

I'm only at the 60 min mark now so I don't know what they did to collapse and concede 2, but on the basis of the first hour they should be seen as favorites not just for this tie but the whole tournament.

In fairness if Juve were more aggressive they could have created more. I said Juve were favourites going in and the only time Juve sustained attacks on that defense it's not hard to see why.

Everyone knows how good Bayern are but at the end of the day, any competent team will cause that defence problems if they can sustain attacks.

It's not exactly due to overconfidence or butthurt it's the reality of having a makeshift defense in the KO stages of the CL.

You can't really compare those Bayern teams to this one tbh.

Especially since Pep teams are usually shaky away but completely dominant at home. I just can't see Juve winning away. (0-4 against Real is the obvious exception but thats virtually the only time a Pep team played worse home than away).

Juve got a chance, but you can't compare the squad of 2007 or 2011 to the current squad, which is far better.

I didn't see it as a conscious choice by Juve to attack more though tbh, at least so far (70 mins). Bayern were just so good in the first hour Juve couldn't keep the ball, and now they're getting sloppy and Juve are cutting through them on the counter. At home I'd expect they'd play as well as they did in the first hour all game.
