I disagree.  Danilo wasn't and isn't a player that Flo would even know... he has no brand/marketing value.  This one is on his football advisors imo.  I doubt Flo knew who he was before they signed him.

yeah its very easy to say who flo's toys are....danilo, not one of them. neither were canales, pedro leon (both were valdano moves), di maria, coentrao, carvalho; had mourinho written all over them. not too sure about ozil, florentino probably saw him at the world cup, so not sure who made that call. but i can bet danilo was not a flo move. first of all he's a defender and not a popular one at that. we know how florentino feels about defense, especially when the defender in question isn't even popular

Nevertheless, he is the new toy in the mix, so somehow he needs to play to justify his price tag.
