Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Anyone should have expected this when you sacked Carlo.
Obviously, it was terrible in his second year, losing his best player in ADM, and yet Madrid had a great first half. Even in the second half, in games you lost, you looked good (except the Atleti defeat).
You can't have it your way every season, and you should build up with what the COACH, not the president wants. Yet, in typical Madrid fashion, you fire the coach and then expect the team to do well with another coach.
Since the new century, Madrid was the team to spend the most money and get the least out of it.
Newsflash, that is going to continue in the long run, as long as Madrid is run as it is now.
Barca will not let go of their advantage, and their going to ride Messi's prime to the end. After that, they already have Neymar, and you would bet they would be the smarter team when it comes to getting the next big thing.
Note how Madrid splashed their big money on Bale, a limited one dimensional BPL donkey, and James, a World Cup wonder. contrast that with Barca buying Neymar, a young talent that carried both club and country, and Suarez, who was proven in the BPL for 3 years, and in Ajax before that, as well as with Uruguay.

And he wasn't even fully fit (big doubt before the match), yet he played the full 90 minutes.RealGunner wrote:Watching Napoli today, he was still fighting at 80th minute eventhough his team was 2-0 up.
Think leaving Madrid was the best thing that could have happened to him.

This is so bad I hoped we were attacking from the left when I first saw it. Danil being offside played so high up yet did absolutely nothing in attack. God give me strength. This has nothing on Carlo first half of the season when we were playing 424. Nothing

Ronaldo is even more offsides And look at the space between Modric who is with the ball and the next closest Madrid player... There are 5 Barca players closer to him. pathetic.

Holy shet..
We really made them look good than the other way around.
Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
The problem is that Bale is supposed to play as the 10 and he's not a 10... he doesn't have the instincts for it. He's playing way too high. James was playing on a side other than the times he cut in and just stayed in.

Let's not talk about Ramos. His positioning was bad throughout the entire match.

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
For the positives... The match definitely flatters Barcelona because..
The important second goal, Neymar was clearly offside. Looks like the lines man actually favored Barca.
This is the first time these players are playing together due to injuries.
Marcelo first game after injury
Ramos first game after injury on pain killers.
Varane first game the Paris attack .
Danillo first game after injury.
James first game after injury.
Benzema first game after injury.
Bale second game after injury.
Navas first game after injury.
Come to think of it... Any team was going to win against us in this situation.

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Danilo has not been injured at all. James played against Sevilla and then for Colombia:and complained for not getting more playingtime, Ramos is always like this, he is going to be put for long now, good riddance i say, Bale claimed he was 100% before the game. Only ones getting a pass are Benz, Marcelo and Navas who got back from their respective injuries 1 week before the game. The selection of these is on Rafa. Its something Carlo would have done. Thought Rafa had more balls than this, guess i was wrong

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Danillo not injured? Are you playing team doctor just to push your Danillo hate agenda now? Come on you are better than that.
Ramos is coming back from injury in pain killers... James didn't play against Seville... Isco, bale and Ronaldo did. He had no match practice with madrid coming into the game that is what matters.

I meant started. He came on as sub in 70 th minsportsczy wrote:James not only played but scored against Sevilla
Grand total of 20 mins of football with the team after 1 month.
Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
He was fine and started for Columbia over the international break... been training for 3 weeks and played in 3 games before the Barca clasico (went 90 mins in both games for Columbia against Argentina and Chile). You can't really put James in that category.
Barca played without Messi starting ffs... were up 3-0 by the time he came in and Mascherano went out due to injury early on.

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
When was Danilo injured post Carvajal injury which was like 1 month ago?? He was very much fit when he joined Brazil and rejoined us. No time out at all. James was moaning and groaning when Rafa only played him for 20 mins vs Srvilla. Well he got to starr this time. No matter if Ramos is on painkiller or not he stilö plays like he has takn an overdose. He is crap. Again only Varane, Marcelo, Benz and Navas can be exused nobody else

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Barca were wise not to play with injury returning messi... Fully fit players are much better than half fit super stars. Robert himself showed that.
James hasnt played this position like ever? Him playing with Colombia is irrelevant as with madrid only match practice he had was 20 min as super sub after a long time.
In one month.. Tactics changed, formations changed, players changed.. So many things happened.

RW?halamadrid2 wrote:James played RW didnt he? He playd it for half a season last season lol
He played as some kind of LW/ AM hybrid
I wouldn't blame you as it was difficult to really identify any players from the offside position as the camera didn't go there.
Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
He started the game as a RW, Ronaldo was the LW. If James was unable to stay in his position then he has no excuses when he gets benched the next game. When Isco was subbed in for James he played as a RW. And thats a guy who has NEVER played in that position till this season. James has absolutely no excuses

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Ronaldo became a CF dude.. Look at the pic u posted yourself. Look for yourself and James is standing ahead of Marcelo. Yes he inter changed his position a few times but he played mainly as a LW.
Any way who cares if he played that position under Ancelotti ... This is entirely new set up of 424 lol. Football isn't a game where you can put the player in his position and ask to gel with new tactics all of a sudden.

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Well now we know why we were so bad on Saturday. We had a RW who thought it was a good idea to migrate to the left, a LW who moves to CF position (shocker, wonder when thats happened mefore) and an attacking mid that also played CF. All in all these 4 players contributed to our shitty play. Its not the first time. They all have the tactical capability of a beginner on fifa. I always remind people to have a look at my avatar when they make excuses for these incompetent players. Even 2 seasons ago James was a tactical retard as were the other guys making up that particular name. No excuses purely and simply
Give me tactically astute, Modric, Kroos, Kovacic, Isco and Casemiro anyday over these failures

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
stop complaining about injuries. the team sucked. the team sucked even before injuries, see the psg, atleti game for example. injuries or not danilo sucks, carvajal came on and looked better than him, played with some drive. we did not know how to play them nor what strategies to use. i'll tell u what we looked like, we were able to cover the cracks and flaws against garbage sides like las palmas and levante, then we met up with a holly holm and got knocked out. no excuses for none of the players...they looked like they had never played football before and were just learning about the game

Re: Real Madrid vs Barcelona
honestly it just looked like everyone lost motivation right after the first goal and 10 minutes into the second half
I think Ramos talked to the team tactically throughout the match more than benitez

That your Neymars offside goal?
Or the injury returning players coming into the line up?
Every thing is unfortunately for you true.
And gtfo from this section if you have nothing productive to say.
