Re: Bojan, Afellay, Arnautovic and Shaqiri at Stoke
Arnautovic is the only one improved during the years, he wasn't so good in Werder Bremen , he was definitely more inconsistent. Now he makes always his match , and he can be also effective.
He belongs to this new interesting Austrian generation that dominated its group

djfawnz wrote:Oh common now Robes, dont bash Shaquiri cuz Inter made a stupid decision to sell him. He is not world class but after the sale of Kovacic and Hernanes, Shaquiri could have gotten minutes with his versatility. I mean, i prefer Shaquiri in CAM than Brozovic ANY DAY.
But Brozovic plays midfielder lol
He played CAM Just the 1st match of season .
We don't play with 4-3-1-2 anymore.

Re: Bojan, Afellay, Arnautovic and Shaqiri at Stoke
the most insignifcant player of Inter 2010 to kill his king
Surprised from his work rate tbf, he matured mentally but maybe I 'm influenced from the fact he acted as an idiot during the celebrations, and we're talking about a man capable to get the Eto'o car stolen

Arnautović this season for both club and country
People talk about Mahrez and Vardy (rightfully) but Arnautović has been up there as well with PLs best players this season IMO

Yeah I'm basically a Shaqiri hater but yesterday nothing to say about it , the problem is that it was the only match worthy of hype played with Stoke kit, we'll see in future if he is really turned

Still wonder what happened to him. He looks strange.
He looks like some performance enhancing hormone self-experiment has gone wrong with him recently.
He's losing his hair and it looks weird. His body has grown into some strange shape. His face looks like a mid 30 year old.
And he's what, 23?
Maybe he's on anti depressants or some shit.

His muscles are his biggest problem, also said this when he played for us. The too much muscles just handicap his movement and slow him down.

He's one of the rare footballers whose weight is more than height minus 100.

There is a reason why I loved him on fifa15 so much. One of the best goals I've seen.

Hughes got this.
Like Bellamy, Pedersen, Bentley at Blackburn.
Anyway yesterday Shaqiri wanted to cross imo
He was looking toward the center and then he , with the right foot, doesn't even ge off the bus

Hughes only really flopped at QPR imo and lets be honest, not even Alfred the Butler would save them tbh.

It's gotten scarily worse though. I can't believe my eyes how he looks. Like those guys in the gym who can't straighten out either legs or arms and start to walk like gorillas because they've mindlessly put on muscles.
He was called 'Kraftwürfel' ('strength cube') already when he joined us, but then it didn't look unnatural and neither seemed to hamper his movement.
Must be some kind of mental thing, it's obvious it's no good for him.

Re: Bojan, Afellay, Arnautovic and Shaqiri at Stoke
That's the problem with Depay tbh, he can't move unless he gets a running start due to how disproportionate his upper body is to everything else.
Couple of years he was skinny as *bleep* and he could explode past someone because of it. These players need to stop trying to copy Ronaldo, not all of them play with very creative midfielders and don't have his intelligence.
It's the same with Aguero tbh, he's still successful because of his finishing ability but he's nowhere near the dribbler he was at Atletico.
