What will Pep do next?
Re: What's next for Pep Guardiola?
the source for this is an article in Sport, apparently, from a guy named Casanovas.
No idea how seriously this is to be taken.
That he would have been offered a 2 year extension is no news.
http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/josep-maria-casanovas/guardiola-muy-cerca-renovar-con-bayern-4630352
can't be bothered to try to read it but the headline seems to say it's very certain he'll sign. Why that guy would know I cannot say.
Also apparetnly

If someone could give a brief synopsis of those, would be appreciated.

Never mind, I can understand feliz etc. bla bla
tbh, I won't believe any article claiming to know what Pep will do.
We'll know soon enough.

It says Guardiola demanded control on the making of first team squad, but also the reserves and the first youth team, and Bayern agreed.

Not sure how you can conceive him becoming Spain NT coach.
Doesn't matter, career =/= politics. He has said many times he'd love to coach spain.

He will not do anything. Bayern was the only team that his tactics would work. I cant imagine Chelsea or M.City playing tiki taka

Oh look!!
An entry of the same Casanovas guy column from 9.1. 2013

"Guardiola has decided his future: London.. not going to train in Germany or Italy.. Chelsea in pole position"
A week later Pep joining Bayern was announced.

Re: What's next for Pep Guardiola?
It would be a shame, now that Pep molded Bayern to his taste with MOAR technical midgets, that he leaves next season. Especially when they are playing better than ever.
He should stay at least 1 or 2 more seasons, time enough to win a Champions league and more Bundesliga titles in a row than any other coach ever, cementing his place as the bests Bayern coach in history as well as Barça's coach.

Re: What's next for Pep Guardiola?
The German paper with the four capital letters claim that they are convinced that Pep will stay, by the way. I guess we will only know for sure after the end of the "Hinrunde".

In Hinrunde, Bundesliga is normally boring to watch.
In Rükrunde, Bundesliga becomes awfully boring to watch.

Last Rückrunde was great. It took until the very end to determine who goes into Europe and who'd be relegated or not. Looking only for who will win is only for glory hunters

Re: What's next for Pep Guardiola?
Would be excellent if Pep actually did take over at Man City, but he's got it going nicely at Buy'em Munich, don't really know why he'd fancy the switch.

http://www.marca.com/en/football/international-football/2015/12/16/5670a18fe2704e28168b4591.htmlJosé Félix Diaz wrote:Coach has told club he's leaving
Pep's not Bayern it any more
Pep Guardiola will not be signing a new contract at Bayern Munich. The Catalan has informed the suits at the Allianz Arena that he has made his mind up to seek out pastures new. He feels that things have reached breaking point because of a fundamental disconnect between his footballing philosophy and the club's ethos, not to mention certain man-management issues he has had with the squad.
As far as Guardiola is concerned, there is no turning back. The way he sees it, his time in charge of the Bundesliga champions has run its course and prolonging his stay beyond the end of this season could do both the club and himself more harm than good. There isn't the same level of tension that was in the air when he left Barcelona, but he believes that remaining in charge of Bayern beyond this campaign is simply not an option.
The Bayern higher-ups have tried to twist Guardiola's arm every which way, as evidenced by the 20-million-euro-a-season offer that they put on the table, as reported in the German press after the first set of talks took place. However, money is not the be-all and end-all for the former midfielder and not even this eye-watering sum was enough to make the in-demand tactician reconsider his decision to leave.
