literally what
must be throwing mad money at him, especially when last window and some of this he had been linked with a lot of decent sides
so dumb though, these players NEVER last more than a season in China because of the culture shock

Re: 2016 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. I
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/klopp-considers-liverpool-fc-move-10691522With Mamadou Sakho, Martin Skrtel and Joe Gomez already sidelined and Kolo Toure hampered by cramp late on at the Britannia Stadium, Lovren's injury means it is possible the Reds won't have a single first senior centre-back for the FA Cup trip to Exeter on Friday.
And asked about transfers, Klopp said: “In this situation with no centre-backs fit, I would say (transfers) is something we could look at."
Sounds like we may move to purchase Matip in January rather than trying to sign him on a pre-contract for a free move in the summer.

Ranocchia refused Norwich ( ready to give us 10 mln ) but there are rumours about Ranocchia-Liverpool now

Is Ranocchia any good, then? I'd seriously rather recall Ilori and play him than buy someone on a 3-5 year contract who isn't good enough to start in the long term. If Ranocchia is available on loan that'd be another thing.

No. They can have Kirchhoff, but need to hurry as he's in Sunderland for his medical any minute now.

Re: 2016 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. I
So Pep converted some forward into a CB at Bayern? Is that why you guys are talking about Benatia/Kirchoff?
I thought Hans rated Kirchoff highly tbh - could be mistaken.

Kirchhoff was a top young CB we signed on a free from Mainz before Pep took over.
Didn't get into Pep's plans, was loaned out and then injured.
3 years later he's now 25 and hasn't played a lot last years but surely he's better than Sunderland, and he's practically for free.
Not sure what Kloppo is waiting for.

Di Marzio also confirms Liverpool is interested on Ranocchia.
The first to say it was Sportitalia today (what I posted ) .. So it's probably true .. tbh Ranocchia 'd stay in Italy because he wants to play the Euro ... but ffs Liverpool is not Norwich , and it's not Bologna..

If you wonder to Inter fan , hardly you'd find positive comments about him . He is hated by fanbase for his mistakes in these seasons.
tbf he is a " missed " great defender, he was rated as the next Nesta when we signed him , but then he failed also for his poor personality ( his main defect ) .. He often began well the seasons, but then he was among first players to drown into difficulties when the results declined.
I believe he is better than Lovren, but it's not difficult.

This was funny lol.
We put a bid in knowing full well it would get rejected by the player or the club, so we can go to the idiotic fan base " we tried ".
Done it loads of times to make it look like we are actually trying to compete to the average joe, i'm not stupid though and i have seen it too many times to be fooled by it.
They could have at least did it with a CB to make it seem like they are actually trying.

Re: 2016 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. I
I'm a bit confused by Arsenal trying to buy Aubameyang (if it's legit). I don't think he presents a significant upgrade to Giroud/Walcott/Welbeck and to be honest I don't think he'd fit in as well as Giroud especially in regards to the build-up play.
If Arsenal aren't upgrading to Benzema or Higuain I don't think striker is where they need to be looking. Someone to replace Mertesacker and shore up their defensive midfield seems more prudent.

Re: 2016 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. I
We have Gabriel ready to step up and eventually take over from Mertesacker. Chambers behind him as 4th choice. A CB signing is not a priority in the next 2 windows, although we will look for a transitionary signing or youth prospect with time.
Btw, Auba is miles ahead of Welbeck - who happens to love Studge so much that they spend almost as much time out injured together, with Jack in tow.
Theo gets injured whenever he seems to hit peach form and get going - although he's way better than the likes of Studge and Welbeck now.
Giroud / Auba / Theo would all be differing options up front. Would be a nice variety to have, both in tactics and in personal.
Higuain and Benzema, especially Benzema, are highly unrealistic targets - as would be Cavani.

Re: 2016 Winter Transfer Rumours Mk. I
Aubameyang is quite obviously better than all of them ( even if he doesn't do everything better than them)
Whether he's good enough to make them win things consistently and get to the latter stages of the CL is another matter entirely.

Think Giroud, Auba (and to some extent Theo) are different players and not comparable wrt who is better or worse.
