He gets away with some of the most deliberate bullshit I've ever seen on a football pitch. It's literally two or three scummy acts per game now, be it stamping on someone, elbowing someone or headbutting someone

he does take it to far tbh mate. I love a player that gives it his all. and I like a stronge hard player. but he has to keep it fair. he is a spiteful man tbh. I would never hope to see a player get hurt but one day someone will put one on him.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been accused of assault by a Stoke City steward following Saturday's game.

A complaint was made to match officials after the Spain international, 27, is alleged to have made contact with the steward's foot while retrieving the ball for a throw-in.

A Chelsea spokesman said the claims were "utter nonsense".

Now I didn't watch the game so I don't know the exact circumstances, but if he didn't get refs permission to leave the field (as in, he went down injured, went off with the physio, will get waved back on later) then it's actually a yellow card offense to leave the field of play.

Which might be why the commentator said he's clever enough to roll back onto the pitch.
