Luke Shaw
Was having a really good season in the PL and seemed to have finally adjusted to United as well.
Suffered a terrible leg break today.
Reading that he might not play this season again. LVG is hopeful and I also hope he is right. But it will be unlikely to see him before April at least.
Wishing him the best of recovery and hope he comes back stronger

Re: Luke Shaw
Tough break. He's been one of our best players this season.
Moreno didn't do anything wrong as well. Shaw was just unlucky that his studs were planted tbh. This can happen. If his recovery is anything like his pace, he'll be back in no time.

Re: Luke Shaw
damn... a double break is no joke. He'll need a rod surgically inserted which he will live with the rest of his life. It takes 1 year without a doubt.
The good news is these injuries are easy to get back at 100% compared to an ACL for example... just being a Laker fan, James Worthy and Julius Randle both had the same injury and they recovered no problem. Just need to do the time.

Re: Luke Shaw
Cruel game, man
Worked so hard to get fit for the season and was having back to back MOTM performances or being in contention for it, then this happens.
His injury upset me more than the defeat. He's gonna be a huge loss for us.
I wish him a speedy recovery.

Re: Luke Shaw
What an awful injury. The BBC report said Ramsey's was similar and he was sidelined for nine months. He's season is definitely over and I don't think he'll be in the Euros, either.

Re: Luke Shaw
Blind surely, with Rojo left CB.
Although Rojo apparently has fallen out of favour while van Gaal likes his Blind at CB, so we might see the return of Ashley Young the left back
Anyway, terrible thing to happen, such a promising youngster just starting to perform consistently.
Bones do heal though, he'll come back. The hardest thing will then be to get it out of his head.

Re: Luke Shaw
He's probably England's best player at the moment (along with Smalling). Huge shame this happens to such a brilliant player.

Re: Luke Shaw
Lol karma for what. Not letting you have ddg ?? Grow up mate.
With Luke shaw or without him, under lvg its not going to pose any significant difference anyway in our fortunes. We will fuk up regardless and league position might be just be about the same too. So don't worry.
But what you are doing is clearly wrong. Indirectly implying him getting his bone protruded like that is a good thing. And you sure you feel bad for him ???
We are here talking about the career of one of the most promising footballers. Its not a small thing. its not a joke. Who knows whether he will be the same player again or not when he comes back. Sure its man u's loss if so, but its Luke shaw's loss above all. Its his life, its career.
Dont wish bad things for him just cos you despise the club he is playing for. That's the stuff of Bluemoon, rawk, redcafe and blue moon. (said bluemoon twice to emphasize how disgusting that joke of a forum is). ..Genuinely Believe gl is above all that.
BTW this last paragraph isn't directed at you. Neither I am saying you think that way. Just Saying it generally.

Re: Luke Shaw
Absolutely horrible, I hope his recovery goes smoothly. It would be fantastic if he could recover in time for the Euros however that would seem all but impossible and the last thing he should do is rush the recovery period.
As for United, they could potentially switch Darmian to the left and play Valencia at RB.

Re: Luke Shaw
No no valencia. Will rather play young at lb than invite that potatohead back into the starting lineup.
Best alternative would be to play Blind there and get Rojo to play LCB. He is not as bad as people make him to be. Just need regular game time. that's all.

I agree that would be better, however Van Gaal seems to have considerable affection for Valencia.

PSV’s Moreno sends another player off on stretcher just days after tackle on Manchester United’s Luke Shaw

Guy's a natural at recklessness.
And he escapes each time too. Quite a talent that.
