Really don't know who to include, I want to include so many.

1- Bale, played an unselfish game on and off the ball. Best he has played in a very long time
2- Ronaldo, looked very fit and eager. Going to need alot of that this season
3- Marcelo, the ball sticks to his boots like glue. Just when you think he'll get dispossessed having 3 players against him on that far side, somehow he has evaded them all and the ball is still with him

Honourable mentions: Pepe, a true rock in defence, Modric could have sneaked into my top 3 but just missed out, Benz, you could feel his abscense when he was subbed, alot of long balls because there was noone there like him to come down and collect the ball, Casemiro who broke up so many plays and all our subs who were excellent when they came on

Isco with that pin-point cross to Benzema, who misses the entire goal from an ideal, unmarked position :facepalm:

I'm sorry, Chad.. Benz didn't play poorly at all, and I can forgive him for not scoring after rounding the keeper, but I litterally facepalmed when he missed the goal with that header.

Here's what bothered me about him tonight. He usually wants to play it safe and is too afraid to lose the ball, that's why he practically didn't make any runs in the second half.

Kid has godly acceleration and speed, why doesn't he pierce their defense instead of passing the ball horizontally?

If he remedies that problem, he'll be god-like.

You become predictable if you just run at the defense each and every time. He's a center midfielder and his job is not always to run the ball 24/7. playing it simple and easy and keeping the flow of the game going helps us build attacks better as well since we weren't always on the counter.

im not trying to be a dick or anything, but im sure if suarez or aguero missed those chances non of you would care, just like no one cared when suarez miss like 3 sitters against atleti, a couple days ago, i get it every time benzema misses is a special case where no other strike would miss but him.

hope we sell him next summer seriously...
