Muslera was 100% MOM. But come on, Messi was good. Take shots at him when he plays bad for Argentina which is much more frequent then Barcelona.

I don't understand why people would say he was inefective in the final third and was just another player for Argentina. I mean there are plenty of games where he deserves those exact quotes but not today.

I loved that moment Mascherano got sent off. Now he has some sort of feeling of what we felt like when he cheated us in the classicos.

I think the game could have gone either way. It just went Uruguay's today

The only thing I hope for is for Batista to get axed(fired) and hire a PROPER coach this time

Don't worry about it man, Messi hate on this forum is at an all time high. They'll pretty much criticize every team he plays in.

Uruguay players celebrated when their tactic to dive as much as possible to get a setpiece or a card for Argentina worked, pathetic.

Oh see, 88th minute, that must have killed Argentina's whooooooooooole second* half.

I told you at half time that Uruguay was going to win, you laughed at me, and I was correct.

Argentina should get a Mourinho type coach which means someone who is very conservative first and then thinks about attack later.

whats your point with the mascherano red card...? did it make any difference? i mean, were argentina winning when they had 11x10.. they were actually worse than when it was11x11.. so i wouldnt go for the mascherano excuse, it's just laughable..

the game was very balanced, i think that uruguay actually had the best chance to kill the match with forlan in the second half... but imo argentina shouldve done better when they had an extra man... they had the entire second half to do something about it

Brilliant match.

IMO a classic one for sure.

Uruguay was absolutely outstanding. Organized defensively, fast on the counter, fluid passing, dangerous in the air.

Messi should have buried that clear chance he had towards the end of the game. Way-ta-go at failing your team once again. Cap'n.

Does anyone else think Man City should fly to Brazil ASAP and take the 40 mil for Tevez ASAP and replace him with Kun???? I mean I know international football is different but he looks one step away from either gaining 50 pounds and never crossing midfield again, or beating up some chick and getting thrown in jail. I mean the guys body language is terrible, he looks so unstable.
