Milik is very good. Obviously still needs to improve overall if he wants to play for the top, but at 21 he's clearly good enough to be our main striker. Ajax fans often say he only offers goals and his general play isn't good enough, but I don't agree. Sure he can get a lot better and will never reach the playmaking level players like Ibrahimovic have, but he's not bad in that regard. I expect him to make it at a semi-top club at least.

Fischer is more of a problem. Since he came back from injury he had one good game and a few good moments. That's hardly enough. Considering the length of the injury (over a year) and that he wasn't great for months before the injury occured..... it's a problem. He had good moments this season, but nothing special. He needs to go a very long way to become a player "too good" for us.

I'd like us to play with Younes (pleasant surprise I have to admit), Milik and Cerny. Fischer and a fit el Ghazi (and Sanogo ) should be subs as long as they don't improve.

It has to be said that our midfield is a reason for the bad attacking display, too. Klaassen, Gudelj and Schöne - that's just terrible. I hope it's not too long till we can play a midfield of Bazoer, Nouri and vdBeek (who made his first team debut tonight.)

15 teams have confirmed their passage into the next round. I'm tipping Fenerbahce, Fiorentina, Anderlecht, Liberec and Sion to join them. Midtjylland-Club Bruges and Partizan Belgrad-Augsburg are going to two cracker of matches while Group H is still wide open.

I doubt that Augsburg will manage a 3:0 or so away at Belgrad to proceed, so they are very likely out.

Teams like Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Astana are all big clubs participating in this competition voluntarily and trying to raise it from midcard to main event. Just like what my favourite hero John Cena has been doing with the US title in wwe

Do you need to finish 1st or 2nd in your EL group to be drawn with the CL rejects? Or does it matter? I want to be drawn with United. Play two goalless draws and then win or lose 1-0 on penalties on the 8th kicks.
