maybe I was wrong about reus injurys. since 2010 he has been injured for only 461 days.

Reus has been unfit more than injured tbh, basically played a lot of games where he didn't look particularly 100%.

Last season he had a couple of more serious injuries that kept him out for a while. But between 09/10 and 13/14 he missed a whopping 9 Bundesliga games. Last season he only managed 29 games in all comps for BVB but the previous two he played 47 and 43 games respectively.

The guy seems to play a lot for somebody who's always injured hmm

but you would still be injured. and my point was he does seem to pick up injurys. I mean if you are injured for more than a year out of 5. you are prone to it.

just to put it into perspective since 2008 sturridge has been injured for 192 days. and people call him a sick note.

Why are you counting days and not games missed? People consider Sturridge a sick note because he has missed a lot of game time as opposed to just these random 'days', and he keeps getting reinjured.

I mean over the last three seasons Sturridge has played 79 games to Reus' 122.

because games missed don't tell you how long a player spends injured. if a player keeps pulling his hamstring walking up stairs in the off season he wont miss any games. but he will have dodgy hamstrings.

Well it matters more if they're available to play or not. The big difference too is that Reus' injuries have been caused by horror tackles or accidents while Sturridge's have been largely muscle or ligament strains/sprains/pulls which is more concerning given that Studge's injuries are a breakdown of his body while Reus' are due to someone else's actions (mostly).

Games are the only thing that counts. I doubt any fans of a club cares about a player being injured if it's during the WC or national team break, they're much welcomed tbh. Games are the thing that matters when discussing injuries.

well I don't know how reus gets injured. but I had this thing in my mind that said he picks up a lot of injurys. and to be injured for over a full year out of the last 5 means he does.

if he gets injured and it happends when the team don't have a bunch of games then that's lucky. but the fact is he gets injured. now it could be that he picks up a injury when the team has a bunch of important games to play. that's down to good or bad luck. but his record does say he does get injurys

Actually if you look at the injury history you'll see he missed major time because of a horrible tackle on his ankle, not because he is injury prone like Sturridge.

So here you can see his first, really long term one which is a freak injury caused by another player (and he had been hit in the ankle earlier in the match too):

Here you can see the next one, caused by a very hard tackle into his ankle:

Those are the two major sources of him missing 'days' over the last two years. Unlike Sturridge who just picks up knocks because he runs too hard, or has a bad hip.

so 46 days in Germany is not 46 days in the rest of the world. take the day off mate. he was injured for that amount of days or he wasent. he spent over a year injured out of the last 5. you can except that or you don't. I can only give you the facts you asked for.

the 2 bad ankle injurys kept him out for 74 days.
