Tottenham probably want to invest in someone younger. Cabaye, 29, could be past his peak by now, especially since he hasn't been playing that much for 1.5 years and you can't know what's his motivation after failing at PSG.

Witsel's agent confirms that Witsel has reached an agreement with Milan. However Milan and Zenit are yet to agree to a fee. Milan are offering 20M, while Zenit want 30-35M.

I wont believe it untill I see it.

I wouldnt believe it no matter who the player is, let alone Pedro.

I dont even believe Wenger would pay half of that for Pedro.

Pedro is a wide forward , which it makes no sense because we have plenty of that in our squad.

32m makes even less sense , considering Wenger's history of spending.

Liverpool can sign Pedro if they get rid of Sterilling.

i) Being an Italian and if we get Darmian it might not be a bad idea as that will help him settle far quicker.

ii) Someone like Immobile might be willing to play second fiddle to rooney, which is actually a valid notion cos if we get a proven goalscorer who is better than rooney and if he then demand to start ahead of rooney as a lone striker, even still rooney wont be dropped as he is the bloody captain. He will take up a position in the midfield disrupting the balance of the squad. So lvg could be looking at player who is inferior to rooney right now who would be willing to be on the bench as his backup.

Odds against

Well, rvp is getting sold and we will be in some shit if rooney wont deliver and might need a better player than immobile.

I personally think we will go all out for Kane once we address our important positions. 50 + mil and who knows, might just squeeze a deal out of them.
