Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I remember poisoning myself a few times I think
I think I only died once or twice in my entire play-through of TW3 btw, one was to that POS frog boss in the DLC

Seriously Death March is a totally different game.
Especially in NG+ where you can do alchemy hybrid with signs or combat OP builds.

Is there a trophy related to collecting all the metal flowers etc?
Or clearing corrupted zones?

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
they're actually fun to collect IMO, most of the collectibles are out of the way and fun to find, I really liked the banuk figures and they never get tedious like some games (assassins creeds feathers gtfo)
I did all collectibles before even going to Meridian lol

You don't have to collect if you don't want to RG lol, trophy hunting leads to quick burnout of games IMO

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I think he should focus on the main and side quests and see if he wants to do that stuff when he's done if he's still enjoying it then go for it.
No need to force this stuff for meaningless trophies imo.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
completion rate is 50% atm
Done all the cauldrons. Saw the one Firenze mentioned which leads straight to thunderjaw. Done all the tallneck stuff too.
Just story and corrupted zones left.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Finished it
Overall a great game. Took a while to get into it but towards the end it got really good. Specially the main story.
Battle of Kaer Morhen was a bit too easy imo. Needed more to it. Thought it lacked a bit.
Sequel should be good.
Overall I'd give it 8.5/10

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I feel like i would have struggled against the final boss without the OP Ancient Armor tbh, although i did basically rush it without a care in the world because of it and completely ignored cover lmao.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I would have preferred something completely new than a deathbringer
Something like a mashup of all machines would have been really cool. Agreed with Firenze that game missed the opportunity for multiple bosses throughout. Would have enhanced the game.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
yeah I said when I finished it the game was amazing but the final battle was kinda underwhelming
should have been something different than deathbringer, although I suppose you fight the shadow carja lad before that
story was amazing though, loved uncovering the events of the past towards the end

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Had more difficulties facing corrupted watchers than that carja lad lol. They had exploding barrels aptly placed around him ffs.
Agreed about the story. Best part of the game and refreshing too.
Platinum was extremely easy and no grind at all.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Oh i definitely agree with all that, i just feel like the only reason i found it easy was because i got the armor just before that.
Makes everything in the game a laugh tbf.

checked my email and got some platinum exclusive theme, noticed they've been doing this for a while now with platinums, too bad they're always poverty static themes

Bet they're part of a patronage package given to easy-mode players, to reward them for a job well done
