spy cards are the best cards in the game lol.

if you manage to get 3 of them in one deck, then even if he has Ciri, Geralt and 4 10 hero cards. You'll still win.

I agree btw, i have 3 or 4 spy cards atm. Although i can only use my Northern Realms deck atm lol, one away from dat dere Milfgaard deck being useable tho.

The only card opponent I've really struggled against, was that woman in the Gwent tournament. I had to load a previous save TWO times because of bad luck and the fact that she kept rolling tons of spy cards in the first round. I thought I had a close to optimal deck at that point, but she kept boosting her total hand up to 20+ cards in the first round.

I prepared a spy and dummy- based Nilfgaard deck with 4 or 5 spies in it, and she still beat me due to her spies and revive from deck cards. Other than that, I don't really remember having lost to anyone but the innkeeper in Oxenfurt, back when my deck was relatively weak. I only managed to beat the woman in the tournament after a re-load caused her to not roll any spy cards at all. I looked it up on the internet, and a lot of people had encountered the spy-abusing opponent at a different stage in the tournament.

There was one game where we both had multiple dummy and spy cards lol, we both kept swapping them out to get more cards.

Round lasted about 15 mins rofl

Lads are there any decent silver swords you can get early on in the game?

I found a lot of steel swords but I'm stuck with my silver sword I got from the start of the game. I'm doing fine but its get damaged a lot. Got damaged midfight against a Wild Hunt ffs. That's annoying and I can't even switch to an inferior alternate because it's the only sword I have.

I should have mentioned this before, but exploring every question mark and side quest in White Orchard is advisable Laughing

You'll have more experience, be a higher level and all in all make the early part of Velen easier.

Doesn't matter so much to explore the question marks after that, except for trying to find better loot but you can do it if you want.

I did everything in White Orchard except for the Monster Nest because I don't have Grapeshot. Cleared every question mark except for the water one because I saw the enemies had skull signs on them. Conquering Velen seems a bit overwhelming though Laughing

Skellige is even worse. Mainly because half the question marks are in the ocean Laughing

BTW anyone who downloaded the Ciri alternate dlc should delete it.

Apparently it was released early by accident and it has problems which causes the game to glitch, ( they have since taken it off the store) which i found out to my detriment and now i have to delete it and reinstall the game

You don't have to re-install the game. Just de-activate that particular DLC before you start the game (only required to be done once). I read about this the same day that I downloaded it. I assumed you guys knew about it already, otherwise I'd have posted it here. The alt costume for Ciri doesn't look that great :/

I ain't deleting it until I'm able to confirm/disconfirm whether or not the actual DLC overwrites the old one. Simply de-activating it seemed to solve the issue with bugs, at least.

Speaking of deleting things - You just posted double, bro Very Happy
