Re: US Presidential Race
I cannot say how thrilled I am Trump has promised to run as an independent if he doesn't get the nomination. If (hopefully) the republicans see sense and vote for some else, the conservative vote will be split, guaranteeing another democrat. Which at this stage seems to be the only way America doesn't destroy itself and the rest of the world.

You've never actually been here have you? America is more than the NYC and Southern California Hollywood which our (great) Media shows it to be. The average American received a substandard education(compared to the rest of the developed world) in a place that is anything but forward thinking.

The demographic switch 10 or so years ago pretty much guarantees a democrat for the foreseeable future whether or not Trump split the Grand Old party. We are effectively, on the national scale, a one party country now.

Is Donald Trump a Democratic secret agent?
Republican leaders are currently thrashing about - holding secret meetings, issuing confidential memos and making public denunciations - as they approach a state of near panic over what Donald Trump is doing to their party. It's enough to make some believe that Mr Trump may not have the Republican establishment's best interests at heart.

Donald Trump is a possible candidate of a possible government party which even has the majority of the US senate, so this appears to be far more serious, unless the Republicans really decide to oust Trump. The real danger is the fact that this guy is so rich that he might continue his campaigns and with his money he could even draw in a substantial number of voters if he goes independent.

Re: US Presidential Race
Donald trump has nearly half of the republican vote in my state according to a poll this week:
This is a state which has been Republican in presidential elections ever since Clinton won the state in 1992. Trump is obviously what the Republican party is now no matter what Ryan or even Cheney try to say.
There is also a website:
http://friendswholiketrump.com/
Which will show you how many of your Facebook friends have liked the official Donald Trump Page. I have over 30 on my friends list alone, and I am not living in some bumpkin part of Georgia either. He has god tier charisma.

It's the end of Republican party if Trump manages to win the primaries, he's got no chance in the general election.

Agreed but at least moderate Republicans like John Kasich or Rand Paul have more broad appeal and can give democrats a fight, Trump only attracts fringe parts of the society and Tea Party.
No point talking about moderate republicans either as they're not getting enough support from the conservatives. basically GOP is too divided right now and the election has turned into a catch-22 for them.

When Rand Paul is being labeled a "moderate Republican" you can tell that the political landscape has truly gone to hell.

If he wasn't such a homophobe, Marco Rubio might just be a palatable candidate for the general election. His stance on immigration also does him no favors though with conservatives as well.

I feel for Rubio to be honest, because he's in that (not so) sweet spot where the he's too conservative for the left and too liberal for the right. He's trying to move to the right now to get some of the crazies on his side, but since he'll never be able to outdo Trump I doubt it will get him anywhere.

Marco Rubio is just as bad as the rest of them. I don't care that he is hispanic and worked his way to the top, etc. He's still an asshole just like Trump, Carson.. Dude is a minority and he calls to shutdown mosques how ironic

There's also always this 50/50 toss with people who work themselves up from being poor.
Half of them remember that they used to be poor, what it was like, and how powerless it can make you feel, and they remember people who were not at all lazy, yet stayed poor.
The other half just assumes they had zero luck, it was all hard work, and all who remain poor ar basically doing it to themselves, so they lose all empathy. Like that mean girl that used to be fat in high school, and now that she's skinny after five years of tough dieting, she sure is going to tell Becky from work how f*cking fat she is.

Putin praises 'bright and talented' Trump:
http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/17/politics/russia-putin-trump/
A clown who has lived off of daddies money being praised by a wife beating thug, who a fifth of the men in his electorate die in their 50's from drinking themselves to death. What a time to be alive.

Joe Scarborough: "Well, I mean, it's also a person who kills journalists, political opponents, and invades countries. Obviously that would be a concern, would it not?"
Trump: "He's running his country and at least he's a leader, unlike what we have in this country."
"Scaborough was visibly stunned"
Pretty cool how the Republican establishment tries to act shocked at what comes out of Trumps mouth when his ideas and support were born out of Conservative Leaders spending the last 8 years rattling the cage of their dumbshit base with insane rhetoric and making a ton of promises they were never going to be able to keep. Time to harvest what you sowed, idiots.
Aint no fun when the rabbit's got the gun, huh Joe?

Trump is 100% right. Putin is a leader. He has led Russia into its failed economy of the 21st century, where large portions of the country have to defecate in the open air because a lack of sewage infrastructure. He has led Crimea back to the stone ages with no electricity. He has led a quarter of all men in his country to drink themselves to death before they are 55. He is a true leader unlike Obama who runs a country that has indoor plumbing every where. Where men have electricity throughout its foreign territories. Where a quarter of men don't drink themselves to death in their 50's. Obviously Obama is a terrible leader and Putin is a fantastic one.

Re: US Presidential Race
To be fair, Russias economy was already shit when Putin took over, and he might even have improved it a bit, but in the end you're right, the country is in a sad state overall.
Putin is caught in a Cold War mindset, not realizing that basically all of the West was ready to basically call it quits and just make peace with Russia, and look the other way for the odd civil rights violation.
Yet he still pumps all of Russias economic weight into the military, and into pacifying his Oligarch cronies, bankrupting the palce, even though they still sit on humungous deposits of Oil, natural gas, coal and iron. FFS.
Also, Trump might be a clown, but he's ultimately the logical conclusion of Tea Party Republicanism.

lol have you seen the iq distribution of certain democrat-junkie groups? (For whom the democratic leaders/community organisers do their fair share of "cage rattling")
