lmfao how is she 50? she looks 30 at best
The real aunt may was like 70 and they never have never portrayed her properly anyways. No point complaining now whoever is doing it.

Who cares about age really.. Without make-up she'll look about mid 40's.
People ragins because of age in a freaking comic.
As long as she can portray the character as it's intended in the scripts, that's what matters. This fanboy rage before something substantial has been shown is tiring.
"She's too hot" What the hell is that of a complaint

I think Aunt May is young any way on the Ultimate comics. Ragers will keep raging.
Ant Man is getting pretty decent reviews That vagi when it ends up being best superhero movie of the year.

Said Fantastic Four would prob be my favourite at the start of the year. But with the things I'm hearing Ant-Man sounds really great. Can't wait for Paul Rudd to shine in a starring role.

Pretty sure I'll think so. Wasn't impressed with AoU. Didn't live up to 2014's Marvel films.
Marvel trailers spoil way too much though... Still pissed about that Thomas the train spoiler... that shot woul've killed in the cinema.

Re: The Official Comicbook Movies Thread
The first trailer for AOU should have been enough.
I've only seen one Ant-Man trailer so far and didn't check rest of them. There are about 5 including tv spots and extended editions. Don't understand why a movie needs 5 trailers.

I've seen 2 trailers... The first was enough... But been to 4 films in the cinema showing the same trailer with the GOAT shot Hard to avoid when you're a regular movie goer

Can't wait for all 3. This summer has been lacking. Not seen a great blockbuster this year since Kingsman tbh...

Meh I really like the MCU films but I thought Age of Ultron was weak. Decent flick that was worth the money but not as as good as A1 or the great 2014 that MArvel had with Winter Soldier and GOTG.
But yeah Mad Max and Kingsman have been the 2 top films of the year so far for me that I've seen in the cinema.

Re: The Official Comicbook Movies Thread
Only Mad Max at this at the level of Guardians, X-men, Edge of Tomorrow and Winter Soldier as far as blockbusters go imho. If Kingsman isn't considered, as it was basically a January film.
Really hope Ant-Man is at that level. Maybe 2015 was just hyped too much. AoU was a lower tier Marvel film and Furious 7 was a good time because of low expectations.
Some people seem to hate on Ant-Man because Edgar Wright didn't direct it. Not really Peyton Reed's fault. He's a true geek, and should get his fair chance from critics.

Ant Man reviews
IGN
Marvel delivers another strong standalone film with Ant-Man. As is typically the case with the more effective of the studio’s offerings, Ant-Man works within the framework of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe, but also delivers a streamlined, fast-paced, lively and – frankly – utterly charming story.
8.7
Empire Magazine
A science-fiction, action-heist, superhero comedy soap opera, this straddles as many genres as the Avengers films have characters but manages to do most of them pretty well. Extremely likable, with a few moments of proper wonder.
4/5
Coming Soon.Net
Ant-Man is more good than great, and while that’s disappointing when compared to some of the better Marvel Studios flicks, it could have been a lot worse and that in itself is a small miracle.
7/10
Variety
The Marvel Cinematic Universe can be an awfully big, noisy and repetitive place to spend your time and money, but at its best, it can also allow for humor, whimsy and lightness of spirit — all qualities that come into play in “Ant-Man,” a winningly modest addition to the ever-expanding Disney/Marvel family. Though we can mourn the more stylish and inventive stand-alone caper we might have gotten from director Edgar Wright (who left the project over creative differences and was replaced by Peyton Reed), this enjoyably off-the-cuff franchise starter takes a cue from its incredible shrinking protagonist (played by a game Paul Rudd) and emerges with a smaller-scaled, bigger-hearted origin story than most comicbook heroes are typically granted. Insofar as it feels like a bit of a tonic next to this summer’s more bloated offerings.
