Ludogorets Razgrad vs Liverpool

This fixture means a lot for me, not in terms of result but more for confidence. I think a win here would boost us with the confidence that may propel us in a completely different direction. By no means, this game is going to be easy. Even the most in form team of Europe got a narrow 2-1 win here. Real Madrid managed 18 shots, 8 on target and two of them resulted in goals. Ludo had scored their goal resulting from a corner kick.

This will be a very difficult game. If they happen to take a lead and they sit back all the time, we would be done with 1-0, getting whole night frustrated and then probably countered which may result in 1-2 more goals. I hope BR shows some balls and start a midfield of Can, Allen and Lallana dropping Gerrard. Let these young guns show how it is done in midfield. I am not sure if Hendo is going to be fit for the game. The table looks as follows:

Funny, I see this totally the opposite way. I'm finding it difficult to get excited about this game when our domestic campaign is such a shambles. What I would do here is give starts to players like Borini, Toure, Lucas and Markovic and just see how they do.

It's a weird line-up, but if it's the diamond, that's a positive. The personnel are a bit weird, but then again it should be an easier game than Premier League games.

I don't know why Gerrard starts over Coutinho and Lallana if he's going to be playing CAM, though.

Maybe he wants to show he still has confidence in Gerrard, and Gerrard had a fine cameo at CAM earlier in the season. He's much better suited there than he is at DM IMO.

I would like to see this line-up tried out with Borini replacing Lambert and Coutinho replacing Gerrard in the PL. Have Gerrard come on as an impact sub or start and then subbed off in big games.

We are playing for a draw. So that we can beat Basel and qualify out of the group.
