Ludogorets vs Real Madrid

Despite not being very known Ludogorets are no pushovers as they showed against Liverpool.

Pepe has recovered so we only have Coentrao (AGAIN!!!) and Khedira out with injuries. Jese is training by himself.

According to AS/Marca Isco will start in midfield. Thank god, hope James starts in place of Bale

In the end our attacking power might be too good for them so we might get the win but the way we have been defending we are going to need our defenders at their best

Apart from Bale still making it onto the team sheet and Navas not getting playing time I like the line up. We are rotating well so far and not like last season where we never rotated at all and ended up paying the price at the end

Lol, comfortable goal fest here. 6-0, cr7 hat-trick, and off course, bale to use opportunity judiciously and stat-pad..benzema one assist and a goal.

Anything less than a manita and I won't be happy

Don't know who was the worst Chicharito or Modric . Awful performance from the entire team

One of those games where only one thing mattered, picking up the win.

Performance was awful, but I don't care. Had we blitz them it wouldn't have made a big deal since it was Ludogorets.

No one's really discounting them.
There's just very little conclusions to draw from this game.

benz , always manages to show up..... when you pass him the ball more, funny dat...

Just wondering Why benz isn't an undisputable starter when he's your only false nine (in reality). Off course he'll always score far less than an actual striker when madrid treats cr7 as the only goal scorer and pass bale the other 50% of the balls in attack. Yeah i know benz has his short-comings but that will always happen when aren't at least among the top 2 focal points in the team (even when cr7 isn't around), and thats ridiculous, so in reality its either benz isn't madrids no 9 or the team should feed him balls other than scrumbs ffs. I aint a benz fan, infact i bash benz most times but c'mon, this is getting too obvious, not like relying on cr7 isn't clutch, but if thats the case then can our expectations for benz be reduced? At least considerably, Considering the situation in madrid?. not exactly rocket science.

Good game

We managed to stop most of the counters and pressured well when they had the ball. Thought Ronaldo was very wasteful with posession but it was jam packed near their area so it's understandable I guess

The defence plays excellent bar Ramos, Arbeloa lost Marcelinho on the corner but apart from that he played very good. Varane kept covering for both Ramos and Marcelo like Pepe always has to do and he did great. Marcelo started off slowly but got going properly after the hour mark, took his assist very well with a beautiful cross

In the midfield Illarra had yet another excellent game, Isco was the best player on the pitch hence why I could not understand why he goy subbed off, Modric continued his bad form which has taken a nosedive this season but overall the midfield played great

In the attack all three of them were extremely wasteful, Chicha was very lively in the first half but became a liability in the second half so he was rightfully subbed and Bale of course I have gone on about him like a broken record so I won't even waste my energy on him now. Ronaldo had a legit goal ruled out for offside, missed a penalty and scored an iffy penalty apart from that he was very poor

The subbs apart from James for Isco were excellent, Benzema improved our attack and Kroos improved our midfield. He and Illarra complement eachother and should always start

As it stands now the midfield three of Kroos-Illarra-Isco is our best midfield and Carlo should always start them if he wants us to improve even more

Liverpool lost so we can afford to play a b team against them since we have barca in between the two ties

Lol, benz isn't a pure 9 and not an am per say, hence the false 9 ish comment, he's the best link-up player in madrid ffs and he's mostly the reason madrid has a fluid attack. But lol, i understand u anyway.

I dont think we played terrible. Some players played terrible but as a whole we had a decent game.

We were consistently creating chances, mainly due to Isco and Marcelo, they were amazing especially Isco who was man of the match by far. He had huge work rate as well, he should be starting next week and not james rodriguez who so far hasnt showed he can play as a midfielder in our tactical set up.

Isco had a near perfect game apart from two moments, one where he tried to dribble and lost the ball and other which he made the wrong decision to pass and resulted in a counter attack.All in all excellent game from him.

Varane was excellent again and if Pepe come back he should replace Ramos who was out of his depth last game.

Our set piece defending is still a joke and i swear we have conceded the same goal at least 3 times after ancelotti took charge.

Cristiano wasnt upto his standard.Got dispossessed a few times.Wrongly disallowed a goal but overall he could have played alot better.

I also dont understand the criticism of Hernandez who was always at the right place at the right time. For a back up striker he is the best we could get.

Apparently we have conceded as many goals from set pieces so far this season as the WHOLE of last season

Why the hell don't we just spend like..... a WEEK, in training on defending and set-pieces?

Alonso could get everyone organised on set pieces, we lack that leader now imo

illaramendi isnt even playing well and he is still getting praise. it just emphasises the need for a defense player in the line up.

TBF, Illara is barely even playing.

Can't expect him to develop some consistency with limited minutes.

Man, what disjointed RM is. Painful to watch, we really miss some intelligence on the field as well. None of these guys seem like the brightest bulbs in the game, and it shows in their lack of proper positioning, decision making etc.

Kroos can learn, and I was expecting Modric to be that, but alas.
