I’d say of 25 players 4 are world class level - Sule, Kimmich, Thiago and Lewandowski, 6 if we still count Alaba and ol’ man Neuer as top players

Another transfer that made a lot of sense. Alright, cool. Where to next? A top club where he'll be able to play regularly, I hope. His injury woes this early in his career is concerning, but I genuinely think he's uniquely talented. I wouldn't want for any young prospect to find their name on Zidane's shortlist, to be perfectly honest.

I cannot believe it. Ødegaard is incredibly talented and when fit he’s not this slouch defensively like the Zidane fanatics have you out to believe. I’m about a hair away from wanting Zidane sacked

He was developing nicely at La Real. Was even one of their best players last season. Then Madrid in their infinite wisdom decided to call him back and the rest is history.

Google is your friend Hans. He sustained patellar tendinopathy in October 2020 and he was playing with pain. He played well from August to November 2020 and then he was garbage after that. With La Real and all involved, he chose a conservative treatment and I don’t think it’s working well. He has looked sluggish since and never quite returned to the level we saw in late 2019.

This is why I am suggesting that his knee is busted and he will not recover that level anytime soon. Playing more football won’t make his situation better, and I suspect he will be a bust wherever he goes on loan to

We all want to recall that early 19-20 version of Odegaard but that’s on YouTube only now

He was amazing at Sociedad. I actually bought into the hype and its sad to see him this way but he can still turn it around on loan
