I hope we don't have a 'Galataesque' CL campaign and by that I mean we should not take our weaker opponents lightly and decide qualification in last matches.Taking full points against Malmo and then Olympiakos should be the priority then we can decide the head of the group with Atletico.Of course it's never easy and I think Olympiakos is proven to be dangerous, however we are by far superior compared to 3rd and 4th pot team,we have to pass the group.

This is a fair group...this way we can get some of the younger players familiar with champions League if we xo keep them in the team...

I hope morata comes back before the tournament starts...and we need tevez firing at all cylinders from the get go...he can't wait till like the 8th European match to break his duck this time...
I think giovinco will explode under allegri...but I been wrong before

Will Chiellini and Barzagli be back by October for Atletico?

It's a very reasonable group, as a top team was inevitable whilst lying in Pot 2. A good chance to test how battle ready the side is for Europe without risking too much in terms of qualification.

Allegri will show the world he was ready to take Atletico last term before Seedorf stole his moment. Proud

Allegri almost knocked out barca few years ago as you know dost. I trust this guy. The only thing that got him back in milan was the crappy management. Thankd for the support bro.

@S thanks for that schedule. Thats what I wanted to know. Happily, we won't have very strong opponents frequently after or before playing the champions league match.

Yep for sure.Barzagli will probably back by the Udinese game(14th Sep) whereas for Chiellini, there are no injury concerns at this point. He is suspended for the opening Serie A game.

Had to be Fiorentina and Roma next to Atletico games Laughing

Although I guess easy league fixtures near the easier CL games gives us absolutely NO reason not to win the games

Even the previous year, Allegri could count himself quite unfortunate to have gone out against Barcelona, he managed some lock outs that were well against the odds on several occasions. Atletico will be a far stranger tie however, as where we gave the advantage in possession up to Barcelona, Juventus will be expected to dominate the ball against Atletico. It will be intriguing to see whether Allegri reacts at all to playing such a dangerous counter attacking unit, though I suspect, at least at home, he'll simply try to impose your normal game. Away from home we might see the team play for a draw to strategically aid qualification.

Good news, I hadn't realised Chiellini was alright, I just assumed something was wrong when I saw people discussing using Ogbonna and Bonucci for the first match.

At the very least Roma will also be worrying about a very difficult CL tie at that stage and by the time Fiorentina rolls around both Rossi and Gomez will have picked up their third long term injuries of the season.

Hope we both play our B teams ffs, at least our bench is practically as good as our first team because we're too cheap to buy automatic starters so we'd win with ease

Well, roma would have left the champs league already... they'll be sweating in their Serie A games against those easy teams. Last year, with hs being in more than one competition, we managed it well I would say...and they without CL, they thought they wluld surpass us, but fell throughout...

Chiellini will most likely play in UCL as long as he isn't injured because he's only suspended in Serie A.

A tough draw but no reason you can't progress. I think it's vital however that you pursue a left back who isn't cup tied in January. If Dortmund recover their injured players in time they've the pace and skill down the flanks to take advantage of a poor or makeshift fullback.

A conservative approach is likely to succeed in such a tie however as Dortmund have struggled outside of Europe this year where sides have given them space. The away tie will be crucial however. I think you'll get an advantage at home but holding it away in Germany will still be extremely difficult.

@Dost: Yep, I agree. Thats why I prefer to play the home match last. The most important thing though is to win at home and keep a clean sheet. Hopefully we can get a solid left back and my most important wish is that arturo gets back on form. If he does, we will win the game. Currently, only marchisio and pogba are doing great stuff in C/D-MF. Pereyra is good and creative as well, playing better than pirlo and vidal, but not as good as CM8 and PP6.
