Agreed Roma would be lovely in CL, I want Real Madrid/Barca, Dortmund, and Roma.

Although it's undeniable that this will happen. Former Roma coach meeting his old team, former Liverpool star meeting his old team, Ibra meeting his old team. It's written in the stars.

I think these friendlies will shape-up our starting XI. ATM, I'm expecting:

Raheem---Sturridge----Marko

However, any three out of Lallana, Raheem, Markovic and Coutinho will/can start. Don't know about you guys, but I'm more excited about the Emre kid than the Marko one.

Another thing, do you think Ricky & Remy will be used more extensively than Sturridge! I think Rodgers will use these friendlies to take a hard look about their ability, attitude as well as how they can fit-in best.

finally we will be able to see the full squad and much more meaningful for this season

in this season, I am expecting to be surprised with a diamond, either during the game or from the start itself

Probably not. Most of our best players just started training yesterday. So probably the youngsters that have been training in the last 2 weeks or so along with some first teamers who didn't go to the WC.
