We’re meeting because I here you have some very important message. What is it?

I have to communicate the consensual termination of the contract between me and Juventus, which was binding also for this year.

When did you take the decision?

It was a process in which I began to perceive and feel things that took me to this decision.

You have always been tied to Juventus and these colours. Do you think that these three years have been possible with other teams?

Winning is very difficult and very tiring wherever you are it is inevitable that if you’re in such a prestigious club as Juventus which has a history of victory.

Here victory is an obligation so maybe it can be more tiring. But who demonstrates being a champion knows how to take this and the pressure that is a consequence of this.

The Italy bench at the moment is empty…

In this moment I am thinking only of the present and of the decision I have just taken.

What do you want to say to the Juventus fans at the moment?

I want to say what they know already; a deep thankyou, an infinite thankyou for what they always showed in this years, not only in the last three years but as a player. They have always been close to me and always showed me their love.

What I want then is that they are proud of what we have done in the last three years. Because we did something historical; winning all those Scudetti and Supercoppe, the points record – noone will take that from us.

I would like to thank all my footballers that I have had in these three years, because they allowed me to be a victorious manager, they let me win, they helped me to grow in many aspects.

I thank the club that was always near to me. I thank Andrea [Agnelli] that chose me three years ago at a time that was clearly not easy for Juventus.

I thank my technical staff, doctors, cooks, all the behind-the-scenes people that worked with me in this victorious Juventus team.

I'm saying quit underrating United because that's what you're doing. They have clearly improved with these signings. Vidal is world class. Herrera is absolutely fantastic. And center of midfield was their glaring weakness. Shaw is better than what we have.

And where do I mention Liverpool ffs?

Anyways, not sure why you're so worried about them,,,they need to surpass Spurs and Everton first before even getting close to us.

Let's not kid ourselves. They don't need to surpass anyone. Everyone starts the season at 0 points. To me they are contenders again because I know LvG is not an idiot like Moyes was. And Vidal-Herrara signings are HUGE. HUMONGOUS. HERCULEAN.

I'm still quite confident that we'll reach our own target of top 4 though.
