Sahin + Xabi won't work. Xabi doesnt work without a DM next to him, I've doubts that those two will work together

I dont know how much youve been paying attention, but Xabi does the DM stuff for us. Even when partners with Lass of all people, he stays behind and Lass is the one upfield. Weve been trying to find a DM to partner Xabi (Khedira is no DM), now we figured out how it rolls and we're gonna try Sahin is my understanding.

Um, I didnt really get what you were trying to say. Neymar isnt going to replace Ronaldo obviously, probably Sarabia or Jese will have that opportunity by the time Cristiano is like 30... but that is way in the future. Cant think so much ahead in football.

since we got xabi 2 season ago i think the assumption was that xabi needs a DM next to him.. but in reality when ever lass played beside him in his first season lass was more of a box-box though he is better at being a DM. same goes with khedira- much more of a box-box type player than DM.

so transitioning sahin into the fold wont be as difficult as it may seem on paper.

sahin is a true creative CM. it could work out even in a 4-2-3-1 formation

I honestly can't see Ronaldo ever dropping form.

Ronaldo is the master of tap ins brah. Neymar should go to La liga, the prem is to physical for him.

Yes, Xabi is good at being a DM. However, he isn't good at doing both roles. It's a waste to make Xabi a DM, where he isnt even a WC one, when he is in reality a defending deep lying playmaker....

Plus, Sahin played great last season becouse he had a great DM like Bender next to him... I havent seen him without a proper DM next to him.

Xabi + Sahin wont work (and Khedira is a DM lololol)

because a lot of things happen in 4 years + Di Maria is far from being untouchable.Once Hazard/Neymar arrive he'll see the bench

We wont need Xabi's full creativity, as we have Sahin who is just as good, more mobile and better at attacking. Xabi can focus on being the more defensive partner. And Khedira is definately not a DM, we have discussed this many times. He is a box to box midfielder but no DM.
