Re: #23 - Arturo Vidal
tbh, if all if fair, Marchisio replaces Pirlo and Vidal starts in his usual spot... but that will never happen lol.

tbh, Vidal is in bad form, once he regains fitness you can bet Marchisio will hit the bench as any benching of Pirlo and the press will attribute it to a vendetta on the part of Allegri....

Re: #23 - Arturo Vidal
Allegri's hands are tied, no way in hell he benches Pirlo and gets away with it due to his past record. He'd have to win every game from now until Pirlo retires to be left alone
Sucks for Marchisio but he's only in his 20's so when Pirlo goes he'll have years in the starting XI providing all goes as expected.

Götze to Serie zZZzZ wold be so weird. Italian league doesn't have the best reputation right now in Germany. Unless you are ancient (Klose), shit (Gomez) or an Erasmus student (Podolski), it's not the place I can see a 23 year old German talent like Götze moving to from Bayern. Even though Juventus as a team and their level is attractive enough, the league in general isn't perceived to be.

Re: #23 - Arturo Vidal
Thats true.
Still think we'll end up getting one of the Germans. And if both Khedira and Draxler/Gotze perform well with us,maybe the perception of Germans regarding Serie A could change afterall.

Re: #23 - Arturo Vidal
After last year i think the status is irrelevant to Juve.
They will now be considered by the general populace as the elite of European football, so players will want to go there all things being fair financially.

Yeah as long as our image is strong and we offer wages to boot, people won't give 2 shits. It's not like we're in the SPL. Italy as a country is still an attractive destination and even people who dislike the league still recognise it's top 4

Re: #23 - Arturo Vidal
I do sometimes think they have this 'defensive league' stereotype in their minds. It applies to the players too.
If somebody like Draxler finds success here,i could see more Germans coming to Serie A in my opinion.

That defensive league is a stigma to the league as a whole but after last year and getting to the final of the CL i don't think it applies to Juve.
As long as you offer competitive wages anyway.

Juve's falling apart, eh? Didn't you say Vidal and Pogba won't be leaving Juve or something along those lines? One's gone and the other is counting days... I guess if Marotta says something it must be true.

Strange.
One week off the grid, came home expecting Verratti tbh. Bit of a downer.
