No those are correct: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentina_national_football_team_results_(2000%E2%80%932019)

They're building a good team for the WC. They've been using the same spine since Scaloni arrived. The CA win has definitely given them more confidence.
They might be my WC dark horse. Although other teams have better individual quality this is a team that knows how to suffer. I can see them shithousing their way to a semi final.

Kind of hyped tbh. If little man manages his fitness just right, this could be an unreal way to end a career... by fully handing the mantle to Mbappe after giving his career lift off in 2018... nah just joking, I actually hope Leo charges up enough energy for a 7 match blitzkrieg

Re: La Selección Argentina V.2
That Spain team was so dominant. 32 wins and just 3 draws is a ridiculous ratio.
Ended by the US tho lost some respect there
The stats overrate this argentina team

Re: La Selección Argentina V.2
Checked their opponents and it's mostly small teams. They only faced top team like 7 times in that streak. Where as current Argentina has faced top team 16 times in their streak.BarrileteCosmico wrote:That Spain team was so dominant. 32 wins and just 3 draws is a ridiculous ratio.

Don't you think their CB position is weak?Casciavit wrote:They're building a good team for the WC. They've been using the same spine since Scaloni arrived. The CA win has definitely given them more confidence.

Re: La Selección Argentina V.2
yes, the backline is the most significant difference with the 2014 team. but I am confused, they are not suffering a lot. Maybe they are not tested enough

Re: La Selección Argentina V.2
The 2014 team was defensively minded. They emphasized playing solid defense and were kinda boring at times.
This team is actually better defensively I'd argue, because of the insane press and workrate out of the midfield. They hound you when you have the ball. Just look at what they did to Brazil and all the other teams in the Copa.
They always seem to get early goals and lock you down for the rest of the match.
Most importantly, they finally won a major final and cast those demons aside. That may just be the most important factor.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh to Muslim.
Good day to Others.
Is Emiliano Martínez, a factor
in Argentina unbeaten campaign?

Re: La Selección Argentina V.2
The best GK we've had in a while. Both Romera and Willy were big game flops. Our defenders too.
This is not to say our defenders are world class, but at least they aren't mentally frail chokers. They are solid enough to give us hope.

So, FIFA 23 simulation predicts Argentina to win Qatar World Cup 2022....last month some other AI-based program also predicted Argentina to win it. I guess their winning streak making the program fool .....no?
