I challenge anyone to find news items with Bayern transfer speculation. As far as I can see, none exist.

Schweinsteiger is a bit over-priced at £10 mil imo

true BB, I read that too. We want this kid from Gladbach and Gladbach want to get Schöpf on loan, and their director of football was pissed Sammer didn't tell him personally about our pursuit of Kurt when they were having phone calls about Schöpf.

Sammer needs to watch it, he's making a lot of enemies lol.

I read something about BMG being interested in a loan of Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg, too.

Really? I could imagine we'll not want to loan him out, I can see him getting some decent playing time next season.

Yeah he gave a pretty vivid interview. How he wouldn't want another season like this, he wants to start big games, and how he's not feeling Pep's trust in him etc.

The reality is, out of 34 league games he played 17 of which he started 10. However he was injured for 13 games, i.e. more than a third of the season.
So I think he should stfu, and step up his game.
He's a great player but I don't think his performances were such that you'd feel he should start over Ribery or Robben.
Pep praised his ability as an impact sub, fwiw.

kicker says Liverpool have made an offer.
He'd maybe get a little bit more playing time here, however I don't think he would be sure to be a starter in big games there. Can't see him simply walking into their team past Sterling, Coutinho. Or Suarez lol.

Anyway think we'll keep him, if he's unsatisfied next summer still we'd let him go no problem, this summer I think not so easily.

Rummenigge says our summer transfer business is done, nothing more will happen.
He also says Pep didn't want another big transfer, which the board would have been ready to do, as he likes the squad as it is and wants "18 top players and 5-6 young prospects"..

That means:
Players who left: Van Buyten, Mandzukic, Kroos, Raeder, Alessandro Schöpf
Players who came in: Lewandowski, Rode, Bernat, Reina.

Players sold for 53m €
Players bought for 13m €
So we have a transfer surplus of 40m €, which is probably not even that clever if we have to pay taxes on it etc.

I would still expect Contento to leave though, it's time for him to go and find a suitable team for him, even though he is the player that has been longest with us out of all

Also 17 year old Gianluca Gaudino played a great preseason for us and will continue to train with the first team for a while, even though he's still part of the U-19 team.

Reina is the second best signing IMO, he'll help prevent GK burnout.
