I think this is probably the tie Madrid fans were praying against. I'm personally leaning towards Bayern here, mostly because of Madrid's defence which I really don't trust.

We're the underdog in this match.

Bayern are pretty much better at everything, possession, pressing, tactics etc etc. However they're vulnerable to counters and I think we can exploit that weakness.

Overall though for now, they'll most likely outplay us and outscore us, while we score a few due to our counter attacking ability.

If Ronaldo doesnt make the first leg, then the tie is over before it even begins. For all his recent big game performances, he is still someone who looks toothless away from home against the big boys.

We gotta hit em hard in madrid, or I'm afraid the Decima is delayed by another year.

If Madrid don't win the first leg, it's game over for them. They have to look for a victory by two goals and bench Ramos for this match. If Ronaldo does not make it, they are screwed too. The odds are against them, they are definitely the underdogs for this one.

A great match. Huge Team vs Huge Team. Madrid are playing well. With Ronaldo and if Carlo plays Varane they are a great team and will play a great match.

This will also be a good match to watch. I am really happy with facing Madrid but not happy with potentially facing ParktheBusexpert-Mourinho in a 1 Legged Tie as he will doing Inter all over again

All I know is when we beat Bayern they better give us the Bundesliga title afterwards.

Nah it's different. we already faced two German teams in CL so it's like really through Germany!

Tactics-wise this is probably the best fit for Bayern, but Real also brings the biggest quality of the possible opponents, so while Pep will be glad he won't be facing concrete, he's still facing the overall strongest team they could've gotten in the draw.

This is 50/50 to me, Real are a lot stronger than they were last season.

it's not 50/50, what? Bayern are clear favorites, if they lose it's a terrible upset.

we have guys like Ramos, Pepe, Alonso, CR, Bale etc... all supposed key players who choke in big games. Specially the two at the back that will give up a goal or two for sure.

Ramos never gets the red he deserves from about the 3rd minute on against German teams, though, and Bayern have been kind of underwhelming in their last 4 or so matches, and it's not like all those players you mentioned magically choke in big matches, it's just, that, sometimes, in big matches, your team isn't the better one.

Either way, Real has been looking good, and Bayern have been below their best recently. I say that gives you a decent shot.
