The books have not ended, there are still two more books set to be released so we don't know anything about the ending of the story.

We do know about this season and the next.

The incest, while it is a disgusting thought, is not as bad because I tend to blank out that those 2 characters are really related. They've not been seen together as much throughout the entire show.

The nudity and sex is one reason why I do not watch this with the family Laughing

Exactly, the rape scene was especially disturbing. It wasn't even in the books, they just decided to add it for no reason, ruining the whole character developement of Jaime in the past two seasons. Even GRRM looked furious in his blog explaining that scene.
