Why did they make that scene a rape scene
Wasn't in the book and completely ruins Jaime as a character

shoving children out of windows and partaking in the national pastime of wales aka incest didn't ruin his character, adding rape to his résumé at this point isn't damaging for me.

Exactly. Not homosexual scenes, not the gory scenes, not the rape scenes, not the incest, not the dark magic. None of it bothers me. It's not television, it's HBO ffs. 'No limit' is the beauty of it imo. In fact I hope if another war breaks about they actually show a toddler being butchered

It doesn't bother me in the way you're thinking of (or the way I think you think of). It's just so graphic and well-made, that it stirs up emotion, that can make me uncomfortable and emotional. Which is something I love for a show to do, which is why HBO has made basically all of my favourite shows. They just push the bar every time.

Nah I get that
But in shows like this, masses of people are literally disgusted with a tv show which is just ridiculous.

I used to be a bit affected in the first two seasons but by this time I have gotten used to it :hmm:Besides Spartacus had 2x of this stuff.
And please that was hardly a gay scene, no kissing or anything. Loras and Renly and Loras and Olyvar were much more graphic.

Spartacus sex scenes were out of this world graphic. It was like watching porn without the shit lighting. So I agree this show ain't nothing to make me uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, that show had some pretty legit gay scenes

haha yes that actually made me uncomfortable. It was definitely like watching gay porn, no two ways about it.
My roommate walked in on me watching Spartacus and unfortunately it was one of those gay scenes and I had the most awkward 6 months after trying to discretely prove to him that I wasn't gay by bringing in girls in the apartment and making sure he saw us get physical.

Looooooooooooooooooooooool
I made damn sure to watch Spartacus alone, but at the same time suggesting people watch it.
Tell you what made me piss myself laughing though, the Julius Cesar scene where that kid who's name I forget bent him over the table and...
As for GOT. Littlefinger wants Sansa so he can secure the north, but Tywin made Lord Bolton the 'warden of the north' and the greyjoys are in full Y0LO mode in the meantime. So, how exactly would he go about staking his claim

OT: Well by the laws of Westeros, if everyone is presuming all other Starks are dead and Sansa is the only one. Then all of her claims to the north go to Tyrion because he's her lawful husband. So as long Tyrion is alive, Littlefinger can't really use Sansa to try to take over the North.
Also because now Sansa is a fugitive

Always watch HBO shows on your laptop and sit at such a position that no one has to chance to come up from behind you

Ok guys, so other than keeping a close eye on an enemy, in what other ways could Tywin and the kingdom benefit in appointing Oberyn as one of the judges in Tyrion's trial?
What can Oberyn get out of it by accepting so willingly?

Re: Game Of Thrones - Part 3 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Giving Oberyn the position of Judge is just Lord Tywin's way of showing how much he values the Prince and Dorne in general. He wants to make certain that in the event of a rebellion by Khaleesi, the Dornish spears are firmly behind the Lannisters army.
Infact, that is why Tyrion had Myrcella sent to Dorne in the first place, 1) To get her away from Cersei's domineering and poisonous presence, and 2) to secure Dorne's patronage. Mace is another strong ally of the Lannisters and hence he is a judge. Also, Mace can be manipulated pretty easily so Tywin basically gets his vote as well.

I think he promised a conversation or something. I don't think he will actually give the mountain to him as he is his most powerful soldier. Some mind games going on there

I'm actually disappointed by the Mountain That Rides character in the series. In the books, he's supposed to be 8 feet plus, a total remorseless soul who only likes to hurt people, even his own family. The Hound looks more threatening than in this series.
I hope they rectify this when he eventually (if ever) meets the Red Viper.

They have re-casted the Mountain. The guy that you saw in season 1 is not who they have now.
