Re: Manchester United 3 - 0 Olympiakos
Nani has been out for 3 months and he's gonna start? Then Moyes will drop him for the next 10 games, because he will ignore the reason that he played badly, is due to a lack of match fitness.

What will the payoff be if Moyes is sacked with 5 years left on his contract?

Moyes needs to start Jumanji alongside Giggs. With your back against the wall, it's time to deploy the Volkssturm, kiddies and seniors.

Giggs If Moyes starts Giggs, he should be fired at half time

If Moysie is as good at negotiating contracts as he is at managing Utd, he's likely get a T-Shirt that says "I got fired from the Utd job with 5 years left on my contract and all I got is ..."

I'd rather see Giggs play, tbh. It's probably his last CL game ever.

Re: Manchester United 3 - 0 Olympiakos
Welbeck and Kagawa must start IMO (talking seriously).
Januzaj has been useless and irrelevant since turn of the year, yet still living off the hype, while he does nothing defensively and loses the ball very easily. Welbeck in big games >>>>>>
Carrick has been shit all season, and for some reason Cleverly is getting stick instead.
Also, if I were Moyes, this is what I'd play:
DDG
Rafael
Vidic
Jones
Evra
Cleverley
Fellaini
Kagawa
Welbeck
Rooney
RVP (Hernandez is he was fit).
4-2-2-2

I hope Olympiakos will score away goal and knock United out. My prediction 2-1 to United, Olympiakos to go through.

ahaha I see, now you're back with the serious advice. How nice of you, when in fact it's YOU who is responsible for our predicament tonight. You really should've kept it together, Liverpool, and thought about the future instead of aiming for instant gratification.
Now unfortunately we ALL have to hope and pray that Utd unexpectedly deliver and progress, or else this sweet dream might be over before it even really started.
Good team, still, hope it is a success!!
ffs, COME ON UNITED! FIGHT! FIGHT FOR MOYSIE!!

I think they'd have to pay his salary for the next five years?

No he hasn't, his best form came in January. He's only started 3 games since then, because he's being rested. It's only his first proper season ffs.

There's probably performance related clauses in his contract.

What if Moyes is deliberately making his team play bad so he can get sacked and get 30 million immediately ?

We don't know that for sure and even then I imagine there might still be room to argue that he met the requirements that were communicated to him when he first came.

That's true, but IF he does get sacked after Olympiakos instead of after Liverpool it makes you wonder why

AVB to show the way by getting sacked twice during a single season .

on the contrary, Red, our hearts are filled with pure fondness and thankfulness for your club and its manager, especially the latter, and we are deeply worried about his well-being and job security.
That's why we'll all, together, in unity, root for Manchester United tonight.

United will win this 3 or 4-0 unless Moyes mess it up or Olympiacos gets a quick goal.
We used to as well a few years ago in EL and i think one time in CL under Bobby.
Think last time we played them a few years back we beat them like 4-0 lol.
They are historically bad away from home.
